Beckie is quite simply one of the kindest and most caring souls you could ever have the privilege of knowing. She has this incredible way of making people feel loved, looked after and completely at ease. She is so thoughtful in everything she does, always thinking about the little things that might make someone’s day better or make them feel that little bit more loved. She brings a little bit of light wherever she goes and somehow makes everything feel better just by being there. But if you have Beckie in your life, you really do have a ride or die. She is fiercely loyal to the people she loves and will back you, defend you and stand beside you always. She is the person you want in your corner because when she loves you, she REALLY loves you. She will be there through the good, the bad, the downright chaotic and you never have to question whether she has your back. She is also bloody funny. Her silliness, her laugh, her ability to turn the most ordinary situation into something ridiculous… these are some of the things we love most about her. Over the years, we have shared some difficult times, but they have been far outweighed by the wonderful memories, laughter, and happy moments we've had together. As a child, you could certainly be a challenge at times, but I always put that down to your fiery red-headed temperament! It was all part of what made you who you are. That strength and determination helped shape you into the confident woman you have become, someone who stands up for herself and never lets anyone make her feel less than she deserves. One of the things I admire most about you is your loyalty and protective nature. You care deeply about the people you love and are always there when they need you. Your grandparents were incredibly proud of you, and I know they would be even prouder today as they watched the beautiful, kind, and loving woman you have become. Although we are not related by blood, I have always felt like your auntie through love. It has been such a privilege to be part of your life and to watch you grow from a little girl into the incredible woman you are today. Over the years, I know I have embarrassed you more times than I can count! Whether it was turning up to collect you from your friends' houses in my pyjamas, being a little worse for wear on nights out, pulling silly faces and doing ridiculous voices, or generally acting like a fool, I hope that, looking back, they make you smile. Some of my favourite memories are of us singing our hearts out in the car to Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead. Thank you for including it on your hen do playlist. It made me feel so special and brought back so many wonderful memories. I will always treasure the amazing holidays we've shared with you, Reece, and your mum. From Florida to Alicante, we've had countless adventures, laughs, and unforgettable moments. Even now, I laugh when I think about your mum falling over in broad daylight after one too many drinks, and us laughing before helping her up! And who could forget arriving at the flat in Alicante and immediately putting on It's Just Too Good to Be True at full volume? There are simply too many fantastic memories to list, but every one of them holds a special place in my heart. That's enough reminiscing from me. FromFromFromHOLLY To My Gorgeous Beckie ❤ Our paths first crossed under... interesting circumstances, the German exchange… the drama! 😂 And somehow, all these years later, here we are, about to embark on your HEN DO IN MARBS. I honestly don’t think teenage us could have predicted this! Throughout secondary school, our social circles of E Block and D Block were wide and wonderful. We were the floating groups, where everyone just got on, everyone was there for the vibes and, quite frankly, we forgot all about the cliques. But I think it was from sixth form onwards that our friendship really grew into what it is today. We have always shared this ridiculous silliness that means we can completely be ourselves around each other. We create a safe space where we can be our absolute craziest, most feral selves and I bloody love that about us. I genuinely spent more time during sixth form having drunken nights at yours than I did being in my own home! Whether it was a classic Maunder house party (sorry Janice, but what a legend) or the staple post clubbing routine of being far too drunk, passing out, spooning Bella Bear and waking up for a hungover oven Greggs… the memories are endless 😂 Your home really did feel like a second home throughout sixth form and I will forever be grateful for that. I never really let on how much I struggled with living in Burnham at the time. At that age, it felt like I was hours away from you all, when really it was only 45 minutes on a train! And as we’ve grown older, somehow our friendship has only grown stronger. I am so, so grateful for you. You are genuinely one of the kindest people I have ever known and I think one of the things that makes you so special is the way you show up for the people you love. You are always the first to check in, to turn up, to bring things round, whether it’s just because or because someone is poorly, you’re straight away offering to get anything, drop things off or just do whatever is needed to make sure they’re okay. You never think twice about it, you just do, and it’s one of the many reasons you mean so much to everyone around you. You are also the best Auntie to Lucas and he is so lucky to have you in his life. I love watching the relationship you have with him and I know he will grow up knowing exactly how loved he is by his Auntie Beckie. Putting this magazine together for you has honestly been such a privilege because it has made me realise all over again just how loved you are. LOOK HOW MANY LETTERS YOU HAVE, GIRL! 😂❤ You have so many people who adore you, who have memories with you, who have been lucky enough to cross paths with you and I am one of the very lucky ones. So, after all these years of growing up, becoming adults, and pretending to be responsible… I dunno about you, but I am READY to relive our feral teenage years. FROM AIMEE To my favourite Blow Job Beckie, Where do I even start with you? It’s honestly crazy to think that I’ve only known you since halfway through secondary school, because somehow it feels like you’ve been a part of my life forever. You have become such an important person in my life and I genuinely cannot imagine my life without you in it. From the countless drunken nights and questionable decisions in your childhood home, to the crazy, wild holidays that I’ll never forget you trying to carry two drinks and lift your dress to go up the stairs, we really have done it all! of course I can’t forget our many trips to A&E… because apparently just going for a walk with you is dangerous! #WIFEOFTHEPARTY Page 17 21.08.26 MRS A TO BE Then there are the endless car karaoke sessions where we have absolutely no business believing we can sing but somehow always end up putting on a full blown concert anyway. I’m so unbelievably happy that you’ve found the most perfect person for you. Watching you find someone who loves you, supports you and makes you so happy. I genuinely cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both. It honestly doesn’t seem that long ago I was watching little Beckie splashing around in the pool at Greensward, learning to swim. Before I knew it, I was watching you begin your next chapter as a baby swimming teacher, those babies adored you, just like we all do! And now, somehow, I’m about to watch you walk down the aisle. Where have the years gone, soon you’ll be Mrs Andrews. Over the last few years, you’ve shown so much determination. Watching you transform yourself, not just physically but in confidence too, it has been inspiring to me. You should be incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved. You knew what you wanted, new job, new you, and grabbed it with both hands. Beckie, one thing that’s never changed is your personality. Even though you do now look like Nicole Kidman, your definitely still bubbly Beckie. You’re such a fun character to be around, with an infectious energy that lights up a room. Although we weren’t inseparable back then, I’m so grateful life had other plans for us. Some of my earliest memories of our friendship involve those legendary boozy house gatherings at yours after sixth form, where lifelong friendships were really made. Then came our first girls’ holiday to Egypt – a trip I’ll never forget for so many reasons, not least because you somehow decided that every girl needed a camel painted on her big toenail! Looking back now, it feels like the perfect introduction to the wonderfully random, hilarious person you are. Life took us in different directions for a little while in our twenties, and we spent a few years out of touch. But sometimes the best friendships just need a little nudge to find their way back. Being bridesmaids together for Holly’s wedding was exactly that, and I’m so thankful it brought us back together. Now we’ve become part of our own little family - me, you, Holly and Aimee - the infamous “Sisters of the Travelling Pants.” I don’t think I’ll ever forget the evening at my house when we somehow ended up trying on each other’s jeans. I’ve always joked that you, Holly and Aimee are the favourite threesome, and I’m just the special guest appearance. But in all seriousness, I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the foursome. We laugh until our stomachs hurt, support each other through life’s ups and downs, and make every get-together one to look forward to. I’m so glad we found our way back to each other. And now here we are, celebrating one of the biggest days of your life. I’ve watched you kiss a few rather questionable frogs over the years, but every single one of them led you to Chris – your prince, your best friend, and the man who makes you so incredibly happy. It feels like only yesterday we were drinking vodka at charlottes on a random Wednesday pretending we were the real housewives of Essex and wondering what our lives what look like. We’ve celebrated the joy of new loves, new houses, new jobs and new babies, and mourned the loss of loved ones, old loves and heartbreak we didn’t think would come. Hahaha. And now we get to celebrate one of the biggest milestones of them all, your wedding to Chris. When I think of the person I imagined for you, Chris ticks every box. The way he loves you, cares for you and makes you laugh is everything you deserve and more.
