I hate the way you care about everyone around you, and somehow always forget to care for yourself. I hate the way you can spend an entire day planning a trip, as if we’re leaving tomorrow for a world tour. I hate the way you go out of your way for everyone, even when nobody asked you to. I hate your carefree attitude, the way you somehow make everything seem like it’ll work out. I hate how every moment with the three of us somehow becomes a memory I never want to forget. I hate the way you make even the smallest, most ordinary moments feel like they’re worth remembering. I hate the way you appreciate people, and praise them with your whole heart, like you genuinely want everyone around you to know how special they are. I hate the way you pick little fights, call us names over the tiniest things, and somehow turn an argument into something that makes all of us laugh. I hate the way our minds have somehow synced, how I’ll think of something, and somehow you’re already thinking the same thing. And most of all, I hate that Bhumi and I somehow got lucky enough to find a person we know will be there for a lifetime- through the good days, the bad ones, the stupid fights, the endless plans, and everything in between. But mostly, I hate the way I hate you- not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. Happy Birthday to our person. ❤
