Jessica DeMaria is a licensed clinical social worker who has had the privilege of supporting children and families through grief and loss. Inspired by her own journey through grief and by witnessing her children navigate their own experiences of loss, Jessica wrote this book with the hope of offering children comfort and reassurance during some of life’s most difficult moments. Through this story, Jessica hopes to share the gentle reminder that although we may lose someone we love, they never truly leave us. We get to carry a piece of them with us, in our hearts, our memories, and through the love they gave us. Jessica hopes this book provides a space of peace, hope, and comfort.
