Deliver Customer Excellence GOC KL Professional Services — FY26 Closing Highlights June marks the close of FY26 and the GOC KL Professional Services team is ending the financial year on a high. This has been a year of building, enabling and delivering, and the results this month reflect everything the team has put in throughout the year. Our strongest month of FY26 — 70% Billability, 80% Customer Productive. We hit 70% Billability and 80% Customer Productive in June, both above target and both our highest figures of the financial year. The result of every consultant showing up, delivering with quality, and making the most of the opportunities in front of them. A genuine team achievement. 13 five-star Trustpilot reviews. We received 13 five-star Trustpilot reviews in June, a reflection of the care, commitment and customer delight the team consistently brings to every engagement. New capabilities, real revenue — rapid enablement. The HOS SHR KL team generated approximately USD 220,000 in combined revenue within just two months of completing enablement, fully independently. That is a remarkable ramp speed and a testament to the quality of preparation and commitment the team brought from day one. Delivering on what matters most for the business. As part of a key FY27 strategy to deliver the Evo platform to all customers, we supported the APAC A&T team in completing Evo provisioning for 1,700 customers, a significant milestone that positions the customer base on the platform and opens new cross-sell opportunities at scale. Innovation embedded into how we work. Across the team, several AI and innovation initiatives were launched and progressed this month, from delivery automation tools to customer loyalty platforms and intelligent search solutions. Powered by AI and driven by curiosity, where AI is part of our work every day to improve the way we work and serve our customers. FY26 has been a year of real progress in capability, in commercial contribution, in delighting our customers, and in the culture we are building together. Every result in this report has a person behind it. Thank you for a strong close, and here is to an even stronger FY27.
Quarterly Access Partner Connect — The Platform Era Arrives for UBS Customers On Wednesday, 24 June, Access UBS partners joined us for the latest Quarterly Access Partner Connect — and this one had a clear headline: the shift from AI assistants to true AI agents, and what that means for UBS customers specifically. Lim Chee Gay, Managing Director of GOC KL, opened the session, before handing over to a packed agenda covering the platform vision, the future of UBS, partner updates, and an open discussion on where AI is making the biggest impact in the customer journey. The Rise of the Platform Era The energy of the afternoon really built during Evan Puzey's (GM, ERP and P&P APAC) session on "The Rise of Platform Era." His message was simple but pointed: typing into a box isn't agentic — agents do the work unattended. He drew a clear line between what we've had until now and where we're going: Assistants (what we have today): the human drives every step, only while you're working. Think "look for changes → select → process." The result: you work faster. Agents (what customers are now paying for): the agent drives, the human confirms. Work happens overnight, unattended. You wake up, review exceptions, confirm, and go. The result: 80–90% of the work is done before you even log on. As Evan put it: after 20 years of making humans more efficient, the next chapter is about getting the repetitive work done for them — with the human staying in the loop only at the final confirmation. This is the thinking behind Access Evo: one platform, one vision — to be the industry's leading agentic-AI software company, solving customers' hardest business challenges and giving them back the freedom to focus on
The Future of UBS — What It Could Be Irene Mok (Product Manager) and Chan Chen Hong (Business Analyst) followed with a look at what this platform shift means specifically for UBS customers. The session tied directly back to Evan's assistant-to-agent framing — bringing that same agentic direction into the UBS roadmap, so UBS customers get the benefit of the platform without losing the reliability they already know Access for. What's New for UBS Customers Right Now Alongside the platform vision, Mandy Teo (Senior Partner Account Manager) walked through what's already live and what's coming for partners to bring to their UBS customers including Customer Success Plan (CSP) is now available to sell as an add- on for eligible licenses — CSP Lite (RM250) and CSP Standard (RM500) — giving customers a more supported experience while easing the support burden on partners. MyAccess Portal continues to be the go-to hub for partner support — log in, raise and track cases, or chat with the Digital Assistant for instant help. Looking Ahead The thread running through the whole afternoon was consistent: the platform era isn't about replacing what partners and customers already do well — it's about letting agents quietly take on the repetitive work, so UBS customers get more done, with less effort, and partners get the freedom to focus on selling and growing the relationship.
At the Catalyst Sharing session on 11 June 2026 we focused on practical, day-to-day AI applications that make work easier, more efficient, and scalable, with Chee Gay emphasizing the importance of actively leveraging Evo to drive productivity and innovation across teams. Izzati shared how she used Evo Builder to enhance the coaching process for underperforming team members by creating a structured evaluation framework, replacing her previous manual Excel dashboard and reducing evaluation time from several days to around two hours while enabling more targeted training. th Ignite GenAI Fluency Catalyst Sharing Session Khai introduced an EasyPay AI assistant built using Claude to support agents during the high-demand February tax season, addressing gaps in knowledge of Malaysia and Singapore tax systems by providing step-by-step, contextual answers that are more actionable than traditional knowledge bases, with plans to scale the solution through Evo Researcher. Balprit demonstrated how AI-powered workflow automation using Intercom improved support operations by generating more detailed, structured, and clearer responses compared to previous tools like Salesforce and Databox, ultimately enhancing response quality and efficiency.
Syafiq showcased an AI-powered scheduling tool built with Evo Builder to manage coverage for a small team supporting Australia and New Zealand, solving challenges around complex and inconvenient shifts by ensuring full-day coverage, improving visibility, and reducing time spent on manual scheduling; the tool is currently being tested in a sandbox environment before going live. Overall, the session highlighted how Evo Builder empowers teams to rapidly design and deploy practical internal tools without requiring extensive technical expertise, significantly lowering the barrier to innovation. By leveraging AI capabilities embedded within the platform, teams are able to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and generate solutions that deliver measurable time savings while improving accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency. The experience also demonstrated how AI can act as a catalyst for creativity, encouraging teams to experiment with new ideas, iterate quickly, and tailor solutions to their specific business needs. As confidence in the tool grows, teams are better positioned to scale these solutions across departments, embedding AI into everyday workflows in a meaningful and sustainable way. Ultimately, this fosters a culture of continuous improvement and digital transformation, where AI is not just an add-on, but an integral part of how work gets done and value is delivered across the organization. The Star - Chief People Officer Summit 2026 On 10 June 2026, at Aloft Hotel KL Sentral, The Star’s Chief People Officer Summit 2026 brought together industry leaders from Access, Ninja Van, and Shangri-La to discuss how organisations can navigate the changing world of work shaped by AI and the growing gig economy. While each organisation is adopting AI at a different pace, all recognised the value of tools like Microsoft Copilot in enabling secure and responsible AI adoption.
A key theme throughout the discussion was the need to balance AI efficiency with human judgment. The panel highlighted the importance of ethical governance, accountability, and quality data to ensure AI- driven decisions remain fair, accurate, and trustworthy. The conversation also explored the role of AI in people-related decisions, reflecting differing views on whether AI can reduce bias or whether human empathy and context will always remain essential. Ultimately, the summit reinforced that AI is not a replacement for people, but a powerful tool to enhance human capabilities. As organisations continue to embrace innovation, success will depend on integrating AI responsibly while equipping employees with the skills, critical thinking, and adaptability needed to thrive in an AI- powered future. Velocity in 8i Execution 48 Hour Resolution June brought another step forward in resolution speed across the board, with every team either climbing or holding firm on last month's progress. Overall Support closed the month at 88.5%, up from 86.3% in May. ERP remains the benchmark to beat, pushing past the 95% mark for the first time at 95.9% (from 93.8%). Accounting & Tax kept the upward trajectory going, landing at 88.2% versus 85.8% previously, and People & Payroll stayed consistent at 84.9%. CX First Line also moved in the right direction, up to 70.4% from 68.6%. None of this happens by accident - it's the result of teams staying focused on getting things right the first time. Great way to end FY26, looking forward to greater success in FY27!
Excellence in Delivery FM Connect Julie Lewington and Karl Boshell shared how the Facilities Management team is focused on creating a best-in-class workplace that enables employees to thrive and reflects Access’ values every day. Globally, the team is driving consistent facilities standards across all offices, supported locally in Kuala Lumpur by Jeany, Eiqah, and Mahathir. Key updates included the KL office’s 589 desks, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays remaining the busiest days. The team addressed employee feedback on desk availability, coffee quality, and air-conditioning schedules, and is reviewing improvements to enhance the workplace experience. In response to questions about opening Level 15, Julie and Karl confirmed that current office capacity remains sufficient. Karl also encouraged employees to submit feedback through the Global Ticketing System, ensuring issues can be tracked and addressed effectively. Overall, the session reinforced Facilities Management’s commitment to delivering a comfortable, efficient, and engaging workplace for all employees.
Medical Claims Help Desk Dialogue On 19 June, a dedicated Medical Claims Help Desk was organised to support employees who may be experiencing challenges with their medical claims process. This initiative aimed to provide hands-on assistance through a physical help desk setup, allowing employees to receive immediate and personalised support. The session featured one-on-one consultations, creating an approachable and comfortable environment for employees to raise their concerns and seek clarification. Employees were encouraged to approach the help desks individually, where they could engage in free and easy conversations with the representatives. This personalised format allowed for more detailed guidance, whether it involved claim submissions, documentation requirements, or troubleshooting specific issues. The on-site support proved to be valuable in enhancing employees’ understanding of the claims process, while also ensuring that issues could be resolved promptly. Overall, the event reinforced the organisation’s commitment to supporting employee well-being by making healthcare benefits more accessible and easier to navigate. New Medical Briefing - Employee Benefits Programme We are pleased to introduce our enhanced Employee Benefits Programme in partnership with AIA and AON, effective 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. This transition to a new insurance provider reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting employees’ health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life. The programme provides comprehensive coverage, including Group Term Life (GTL), hospitalisation, accident coverage, GP and specialist consultations, as well as dental, optical, health screening, and gym membership benefits. Important: All claims must be submitted within 90 days of treatment with complete supporting documents. Together with AIA and AON, we look forward to supporting a healthier, happier, and more proactive workforce. First Aid Training Session The First Aid Training, held on 22 June 2026, was a highly engaging and informative session that equipped participants with essential life-saving skills and knowledge. Conducted in an interactive format, the training combined both theoretical learning and hands-on practice to ensure participants were confident in applying first aid techniques in real-life situations. The session was led by instructor Yusri, alongside another trainer, who guided participants through a comprehensive introduction to first aid. The training began with an explanation of what first aid is, which is the immediate assistance given to a person suffering from an injury or illness before professional medical help arrives, and emphasised the importance of being prepared to act quickly and effectively in emergencies.
One of the key highlights of the training was learning how to properly support injuries, such as tying up an arm using a sling, which is essential in stabilising fractures or severe sprains. Participants also gained hands-on experience in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for both adults and infants. Using training mannequins, they practised the correct technique, rhythm, and depth of compressions, developing confidence in responding to cardiac emergencies. A crucial concept covered during the session was the critical time window in saving a person’s life, particularly understanding how quickly brain damage can occur without oxygen. This reinforced the importance of immediate action and early intervention while waiting for emergency services. The training also addressed how to respond to common emergencies such as choking. Participants were taught the correct procedures, including back blows and abdominal thrusts, to safely assist someone whose airway is obstructed. In addition, the session covered how to recognise and respond to a person experiencing a heart attack, including identifying warning signs and providing timely assistance.

Accelerate Market Growth It’s Not Magic. It’s the Future of AI: HR,Payroll, and the Freedom to do MORE The “It’s Not Magic. It’s the Future of AI: HR, Payroll, and the Freedom to Do More” forum, held on 24 June 2026 at GOC KL’s Townhall, brought together HR leaders, industry experts, and SME stakeholders to explore how AI is transforming HR and payroll functions. The event saw strong engagement, with 62 participants registered and 54 attendees representing 40 companies, reflecting growing interest in AI adoption. Despite this interest, insights shared during the forum revealed that adoption remains at an early stage, with 83% of organisations yet to deploy AI, 74% having no live implementation, and 50% still undecided on their approach. The key barriers were not technological but organisational, with trust, accountability, and lack of governance, evidenced by 50% of boards not discussing AI, emerging as the main concerns, alongside continued reliance on manual compliance processes. For SMEs, where HR and payroll tasks are often manual and time-consuming, AI presents a practical solution by automating routine processes such as payroll, leave tracking, and claims management, improving efficiency, accuracy, and compliance while freeing HR teams to focus on strategic priorities. This is particularly important given SMEs contribute 39.5% of Malaysia’s GDP, making productivity gains highly impactful. Importantly, the forum reinforced that AI is not meant to replace HR professionals; instead, it enhances their roles, with 86% of respondents agreeing that AI should advise but not decide in people-related matters.
Overall, the key message is clear: while organisations remain cautious, AI in HR is no longer optional but essential, enabling HR teams to move beyond administrative work and focus on delivering greater value, ultimately achieving the “freedom to do more.” GBS Internship Fair - In collaboration with TalentCorp X GBS Malaysia X APU On 25 June 2026, The Access Group had the privilege of participating in the GBS Internship Fair, a collaborative event between Asia Pacific University (APU) and GBS Malaysia, organised by TalentCorp x APU x GBS Malaysia. The fair brought together an impressive and diverse pool of aspiring talent from across the region. The event saw a strong turnout of students not only from APU but also from a wide range of universities, creating a vibrant environment filled with both local and international students. It served as an excellent platform for organisations and students to connect, exchange insights, and explore future career opportunities within the Global Business Services (GBS) sector and beyond.
Throughout the fair, The Access Group’s booth experienced consistent engagement, with many students showing genuine interest in learning more about the company, its culture, and the opportunities available. The team had the opportunity to interact with students from various academic disciplines, each bringing unique perspectives, ambitions, and enthusiasm for their professional journeys. As a result of these meaningful interactions, The Access Group received approximately 90 applications from students eager to take the next step in their careers. This positive response highlights the growing interest in the organisation as an employer of choice among emerging talent. Participation in the GBS Internship Fair not only allowed The Access Group to showcase its values and career opportunities but also reinforced its commitment to nurturing young talent and building strong connections with future professionals. The team is excited about the potential of these candidates and looks forward to welcoming some of these bright individuals into the organisation. Overall, the event was a great success, and The Access Group is proud to have been part of such a dynamic and impactful initiative, where meaningful connections were made and future careers began to take shape. Moments that Matter End Of Year Bazaar The End-of-Financial-Year (EoFY) Bazaar was a vibrant and meaningful event that brought together a diverse group of vendors and colleagues in a lively celebration of community and collaboration.
The event received overwhelming support from our colleagues in GOCKL, whose participation and encouragement played a significant role in its success. The strong turnout and vibrant atmosphere created excellent opportunities for vendors to showcase their products, connect with customers, and generate sales. In fact, several vendors shared that their items sold out more quickly than at any previous bazaar they had participated in an encouraging testament to the enthusiasm and engagement of our community. Beyond the commercial success, the EoFY Bazaar also carried a strong charitable purpose. Through the collective efforts of our vendors and participants, we raised approximately RM606. As part of our commitment to giving back, 20% of each vendor’s profit will be donated to OrphanCare Foundation, reinforcing the spirit of generosity and social responsibility that underpinned the event. This year, we featured eight enthusiastic vendors offering a wide variety of products, including food, beverages, handmade crafts, collector items, and preloved goods. In addition, one vendor hosted a yoga session, adding a unique wellness element to the bazaar and further enhancing the overall experience for attendees. Overall, the EoFY Bazaar not only served as a platform to support small businesses and foster connections within GOCKL but also demonstrated how collective participation can drive meaningful impact. Given the positive feedback and successful outcomes, we look forward to establishing the EoFY Bazaar as an annual tradition, a signature event that marks the close of the financial year while celebrating community, creativity, and compassion.
The most popular sport in Access! - Pickleball What started as a simple session has quickly evolved into something much bigger and better. We’ve officially upgraded from 16 to 24 players per session, and just when that felt like enough of a leap, we took things up another notch with a brand-new venue: PikaPika Ball on the MyTown rooftop. Safe to say, it’s a game changer. Convenience was already a big win, the venue sits right along the MRT line, which means getting there is easier than ever. But the real highlight? The rooftop setting. Playing under the night sky, with the glowing silhouette of the 106 Exchange tower as our backdrop, brings a whole new energy to every rally. There’s something special about paddle stacking with a skyline view, it just hits different. And it’s not just the venue that’s leveling up. The community is growing fast. With larger sessions and a buzzing atmosphere, slots are now filling up in under 20 seconds, a clear sign that the momentum is only building.
