I started my Navy career young and afraid not knowing what to expect. Along the way I learned that "There is No Growth in the Comfort Zone and No Comfort in the Growth Zone". Ultimately, I was taught that "The First Responsibility of a Leader is to Define Reality. The Last is to Say Thank You and in between, the Leader is a Servant". I want to thank each of you for being a part of my family's life. It truly has been an honor to serve YOU and our Country! August 1996
