I learned that through basic application of good practices in taking leadership will give an increase growth in our communities. It has a profound impact in me because it helped me deepen my understanding of the responsibilities that I have as a citizen. This program has given me an understanding that I have a distinct role in the community. It taught me principles on how I can become a good support in the immense growth of the society. NSTP taught me about the core values needed in having an ethical Filipino citizenship. These values includes integrity, service, and responsibility which a leader should have in order to govern a just country. My experiences from the NSTP program has enrich my knowledge in having a sense of responsibility and leadership as a Filipino citizen. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 2 TINDIG, ASSISTANT LEADER DATE: JULY 29, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: I was able to meet and speak with our baranggay captain earlier regarding the community projects and programs being established within the community. He humbly welcomed me and gave his generous time in answering my questions. We've discussed about community safety and disaster preparedness and community budget allocation. I have also asked for a copy of our project development plan, however, the baranggay secretary was no longer available to present it. But according to our baranggay captain we have community plan which includes investment, infrastructure, and pangkabuhayan (PESO). Having the opportunity to conduct an interview with a baranggay official was a privilege. I learned our baranggay captain and how he genuinely cares about his people. I am please to learn more about these concerns and make myself more responsible so I could be a help to my own nation in decreasing the percentage of community crimes. We can become resilient amidst this community crimes as we humbly unite to each other. We have discussed some social issues which have helped to bring awareness to everyone. We should allow ourselves of taking part in serving and protecting others. As part of the community, we should be responsible and have the initiative to tap our baranggay officials and collaborate with them when it comes to safety. As a group, we have come up with an action plan and project plan called Bayanihan Kontra Krimen within a selected baranggay in Angeles City. This plan invites baranggay officials, students, youth, families, and community residents to take part of it. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 2 TINDIG, ASSISTANT LEADER DATE: September 7, 2026 Many people are affected by the current typhoon that we have in our province. Some families are facing floods which made them decide to momentarily relocate and others are in hunger due to poverty. In times of calamity, we should learn how we can help our communities become equipped and strengthened. Despite of the inclement weather that we have, my heart is full of love, peace, and gratitude as I visit the Urdaneta temple with our ward members. A temple is a house of the Lord where we make and keep sacred covenants as members of The Church of Jesus Church of Latter-day Saints. It is a place which leads you to eternal life (Celestial) together with your family. My soul was filled with joy and compassion as I performed sacred ordinances in behalf of my deceased ancestors. I am also grateful to witness others making sacred ordinances inside the temple. This sacred experience have helped me remember my own covenants with the Lord and it has made me feel more closer to our loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My testimony about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has also increased as I devoted myself in temple worship. Group 2 TINDIG • ABISH JOY D. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 2 TINDIG, ASSISTANT LEADER DATE: September 23, 2026 Last meeting, we had a face to face class together with our substitute facilitator and his students from the other department. We have tackled about the important aspects of SWOT analysis. We were also asked to present at least three from each components of the SWOT analysis for our action plan. Everything went well during our meeting. Everyone have participated in making the class organized. Personally, I learned a lot about the SWOT analysis and how vital it is to an institution. Our facilitator had impart a lot of knowledge regarding the lesson which has enlighten me.
