As Design Manager at FUEL Professional Consulting Co., I manage a multidisciplinary team of 20 engineers. My role includes assigning responsibilities, reviewing design deliverables, and coordinating architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure inputs across ongoing projects. I work with clients and project teams to clarify requirements, resolve design issues, and follow up on technical comments. My architectural work includes concept development, spatial planning, design development, and construction documentation for hospitality, residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. My portfolio also includes urban planning work, covering zoning, circulation, public spaces, and the preparation of master plans and visualizations. PAGE 04 0 1 P R O F I L E PROFESSIONAL PROFILE 12+ Years of Professional Experience 20+ Engineers Under My Management 200 M+ Project Portfolio 10-15 Annual Tenders Alongside design management, I oversee tender preparation, including BOQs, cost estimates, pricing, and technical and commercial proposals. This involves coordinating contributions from the engineering disciplines and checking consistency between drawings, specifications, and tender documents before submission. My earlier experience in architectural production and site supervision informs how I review designs and coordinate with construction teams. During the Wadi Bisha project assignment, I managed specialist engineering teams and the preparation of studies and tender documentation for 24 reinforced concrete box culverts.

My Approach I begin each project by understanding the client’s objectives, the site conditions, and the intended use of the development. These requirements guide the spatial layout, building form, circulation, and relationship between the project and its surroundings. As the design develops, I work with the engineering team to address technical requirements and resolve conflicts between disciplines. I review how design decisions affect usable space, construction details, material choices, and cost, and discuss the available options with the client. My experience in site supervision and tender preparation informs this process. I consider how the design will be documented, priced, and built, with attention to coordinated drawings, clear specifications, and practical construction details. PAGE 06 0 1 P R O F I L E DESIGN & DELIVERY PHILOSOPHY I judge a design by how well it serves its users, responds to its site, and translates into a workable building. The following principles guide my decisions, from the overall layout to the development of architectural details. Function & Spatial Clarity Context & User Comfort A well-organized plan should make a building straightforward to use. I consider the relationships between spaces, the clarity of entrances and circulation, and the separation of public, private, and service areas. In hospitality and commercial projects, this includes how visitors and staff move through the building and how service activities support its daily operation. Building form and façade design should respond to orientation, surrounding development, and the character of the location. I consider daylight, shading, privacy, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Material choices and architectural expression should support these requirements while giving the project a coherent identity. Buildability & Long-term Use Design decisions carry consequences for construction, maintenance, and future use. I consider structural and service requirements as the architecture develops, and review details with the relevant specialists. I aim for material selections and construction solutions that suit the project’s budget, anticipated use, and maintenance needs.
