DETROIT MUSEUM4Location : Malabata, Tangier Function : Public Museum Facing the Strait of Gibraltar, the museum is conceived as an architectural gesture that strengthens the visual dialogue between the city and the sea. Rather than competing with its surroundings, the building adopts a quiet, contemporary presence, elevated on pilotis to free the ground for movement, views, and public life. Its long, horizontal form contrasts with the surrounding vertical skyline, preserving the openness of the horizon, while a slender glass tower marks the entrance and frames panoramic views of the landscape. The project seeks not to dominate its site, but to reveal it—transforming the journey between city and sea into an experience where architecture becomes a subtle mediator between people, place, and the ever-changing horizon.D E T R O I T M U S E U M 01

Location : Wadi Rum, JORDAN Function : Public pavillion Set against the silent grandeur of Wadi Rum, the pavilion emerges from a sense of humility, awe, and introspection. Rather than competing with the timeless landscape, it responds through contrast—a light, cantilevered circular form that appears to hover gently above the desert. Beneath it, a shaded space invites rest, contemplation, and quiet reflection. Clad in GRC over a steel structure, the pavilion presents a calm, monolithic presence, while its polished aluminum underside introduces lightness and reflection. As visitors move beneath the canopy, the vastness of the desert gives way to the image of their own reflection, creating a subtle dialogue between the permanence of nature and the fleeting presence of humanity.D E S E R T P A V I L L I O N 0220DESERT PAVILLION

26GREAT MOSQUE OF BENGUERIR
25PORTFOLIOBIAD SALAH-EDDINELocation : BENGUERIR Function : Mosque The project is rooted in a clear organizing principle: a central axis that structures the site, frames the perception of the mosque and its minaret, and establishes a strong dialogue with the surrounding urban context. From this foundation, a sequence of spaces unfolds, creating a fluid progression where the different volumes are carefully arranged according to their functions and importance. At the heart of the composition, a shaded pergola acts as both a climatic and social threshold, connecting the different spaces while encouraging gathering, rest, and everyday interaction. By combining clarity of movement, functional hierarchy, and sensitivity to the local environment, the project creates a balanced architecture that is rational, welcoming, and deeply connected to its context.G r e a t M o s q u e o f B e n g u e r i r 03

40COMMUNITY CENTER IN SENEGALKAIRALOORO COMPETITION Location : SOUTHERN SENEGAL Function : Community center A seed becomes a tree, a tree becomes a place, and a place becomes the space that brings a community together. Since the earliest civilizations, all human gatherings began beneath a tree, where shade, protection, and social exchange gave rise to the first collective spaces. Inspired by this timeless relationship, the project is conceived as an architecture that grows rather than one that is simply built. Like the natural evolution of a tree, a simple module gradually expands into an interconnected system of courtyards, shaded thresholds, and gathering spaces, organized around the existing trees. Rather than imposing a fixed form upon the site, the project embraces the logic of organic growth, allowing architecture and landscape to evolve together. The tree is no longer only an element of the landscape, but the origin of the project itself, shaping a place where community, nature, and architecture become inseparable.C O M M U N I T Y C E N T E R 04

50INDIVIDUAL HOUSELocation : UM6P CAMPUS, BENGUERIR Function : individual house The project stems from a critical reinterpretation of the traditional patio house, typically conceived as an inward- looking space, closed off from its surroundings and entirely oriented around a single central courtyard. While this organization responds effectively to the constraints of a dense urban fabric, it also limits the diversity of relationships between privacy and the outdoors. Situated on an open site, the house is freed from these constraints and offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional riad, rooted in cultural heritage, respectful of the environment, and socially enriching, bridging traditional and contemporary architecture. The concept is based on the fragmentation of a simple volume, creating a hierarchy of courtyards rather than a single central void. The composition begins with the central courtyard, which acts as the organizing core of the shared living spaces, and then expands through the addition of secondary courtyards connected to the private areas, providing different levels of privacy and a richer spatial experience.R E V I S I T I N G T H E P A T I O H O U S E 05
