The company combines local expertise with international capabilities to deliver integrated solutions throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to construction and project management. AJi also operates Yellow Lab, its dedicated design venture focusing on advanced concept design, visualization, computational design, and immersive digital experiences. DEPARTM ENTS & MY ROLE DURING THE APPR ENTICESHIP AJi Group operates through multidisciplinary departments including Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, BIM, Advisory & Solutions, and Facilities Management. During my apprenticeship, I was mainly part of the Design Department and Yellow Lab, focusing on architectural design, visualization, and digital design workflows. I mainly worked within the Design Department and Yellow Lab, contributing to architectural design, 3D modelling, visualization, and design development across different projects.

The primary goal is to enhance the office environment and workflow by replanning the interior layouts and updating the color schemes and materials to create a more productive and professional atmosphere. Task 1 : office replanning ( interior design ) • Analyzed the existing office layout to identify spatial inefficiencies. • Proposed a new furniture and partition layout to optimize circulation and maximize the use of available space for the AJWE team. Task 2 : mood boards ( Images + materials ) • Curated a selection of materials, finishes, and color palettes aimed at improving the indoor environment.

Section 2 : Site Supervision During July, I focused on developing my knowledge in Construction Management through a combination of site visits and internal learning sessions. This month, I visited the Royal Automobile Club site, where I was introduced to construction-related processes

In addition, I attended several Construction Management lectures and discussions with the Supervision Team at the office, including sessions with Eng. Arwa and Eng. Marah. These sessions covered different aspects of construction management, project scheduling, shop drawings, construction monitoring, inspections, approvals, and the coordination and resolution of construction-related issues. Most of the competencies developed during this month were achieved at the Knowledge level, as I was mainly learning through explanations, discussions, reviewing actual project documents, and observing construction practices during the site visit.
