This is a portfolio of selected architectural and BIM work by Kamil Skipirzepa, a 3rd-year Architecture Technology and BIM student at South East Technological University in Waterford. It is intended for potential employers, academic reviewers or professionals interested in the candidate's technical and design capabilities.
The portfolio opens with an about section stating the student's focus on BIM, digital design and architectural technology, followed by a summary of education including study abroad mobilities at Wrocław University of Science and Technology and Frederic University in Cyprus. Technical skills listed include Revit, AutoCAD, Twinmotion, Navisworks and Dynamo.
The first and most detailed project is a proposed two-storey steel-frame extension to Stoneyford Community Centre in Co. Kilkenny. It includes architectural plans for ground and first floor levels, elevations from four sides, a section drawing with construction detailing, and schedules for fire ratings, materials and classification.
The architectural details section provides door and window schedules with dimensions, fire ratings and glazing specifications. A curtain wall detail and window types A, B and C are shown with powder-coated aluminium frames and double-glazed units.
The second project is a residential building covering structural and architectural modelling, architectural details, presentation and energy analysis. The third chapter explores technical BIM topics including custom families, adaptive families, Dynamo scripts and Autodesk Forma workflows.
