Through financial support, mentorship and confidence-building, the initiative is helping create a new generation of future-ready women leaders.EMPOWERING WOMEN TO ENGINEER INDIA’S FUTUREBajaj Auto Foundation has committed ₹400 crore to the Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering, supporting 506 scholars from 40 institutions across India. The inaugural cohort was felicitated at the Foundation’s Pune headquarters in the presence of Ms. Kiran Mazumdar- Shaw and Mr. Rajiv Bajaj. Beyond financial support of up to ₹8 lakh, the programme offers mentorship, leadership development, industry exposure and professional networking —helping young women build careers in engineering and shape India’s future.IIT GANDHINAGAR:Creating Opportunities for Women in EngineeringThirteen women students at IIT Gandhinagar have been selected for the Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering. The initiative provides financial support alongside mentorship, industry exposure and leadership opportunities, helping scholars build confidence and prepare for meaningful careers in STEM.

He highlighted the role of CSR in enabling young talent to build a stronger, more prosperous nation —encouraging the scholars to use their knowledge and skills to create something remarkable.OPENING DOORS FOR WOMEN IN ENGINEERINGThe Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering (RRBSWE) is supporting over 500 women across 40 leading engineering institutions, with scholarships of up to ₹8 lakh. Beyond financial aid, scholars receive mentorship, industry exposure, technical learning, skill development and counselling to support them throughout their engineering journey. Applications for the 2026–27 cohort are open from 1 August to 15 September.STRENGTHENING INDUSTRY-ACADEMIA CONNECTIONS AT IIT PATNAThe Bajaj Auto Foundation team visited IIT Patna to engage with students and share details of the Rupa Rahul Bajaj Scholarship for Women in Engineering (RRBSWE) 2026–27. The interaction highlighted opportunities in mentorship, industry exposure and skill development, while also recognising seven IIT Patna students from the previous scholarship cohort for their achievements.

The programme offers financial assistance of up to ₹8 lakh, along with mentorship, leadership development, industry exposure and career support—empowering the next generation of women engineers.

BESTBAJAJ BEST × RVCE Bajaj BEST has partnered with RV College of Engineering (RVCE) to establish a BEST Centre on campus, integrating Electronics Manufacturing Systems with ECE and EEE programmes. The collaboration builds on RVCE’s legacy of academic excellence, bringing industry-relevant manufacturing skills closer to students. With its first batch of 300 students commencing this July, the programme is set to scale to 660

BESTBAJAJ BEST × UPES Bajaj BEST has introduced new labs in Robotics & Automation and Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing at UPES, giving students hands-on exposure to industry- relevant technologies. With 120+ students already on board and BEST integrated into UPES’ core engineering curriculum, the initiative connects classroom learning with real-world manufacturing skills. The collaboration strengthens our commitment to building a future-ready talent pool equipped with the skills and confidence to contribute from day one.

BESTBAJAJ BEST × SASTRA The Phase II inauguration of Bajaj BEST at SASTRA University expands the centre’s focus on future-ready engineering skills, adding Firmware Development and E- Mobility to its existing manufacturing and electronics verticals. The initiative strengthens industry–academia collaboration, creating more opportunities for students to learn, experiment, and build real-world skills for the future.

BESTBAJAJ BEST × NIT JAMSHEDPUR The Phase II inauguration of Bajaj BEST at SASTRA University expands the centre’s focus on future-ready engineering skills, adding Firmware Development and E- Mobility to its existing manufacturing and electronics verticals. The initiative strengthens industry–academia collaboration, creating more opportunities for students to learn, experiment, and build real-world skills for the future.

BESTBAJAJ BEST × SIT – SYMBIOSIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY The next phase of BEST expands into electronics, introducing Firmware Development and Electronics Manufacturing Systems labs to build future-ready skills. The initiative combines academic learning with hands-on industry exposure, giving students practical expertise for the evolving electronics landscape.

BESTBEST × MAHINDRA UNIVERSITY The Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre at Mahindra University brings industry-aligned learning to the classroom through Advanced Manufacturing and Firmware Development. Integrated into engineering curricula, the Centre combines hands-on training and industry exposure to prepare students for the future of engineering.

STEPWEST MIDNAPORE: BUILDING JOB-READY SKILLS THROUGH STEP The new STEP training centre at Government Industrial Training Institute, West Midnapore, set up with Tata STRIVE and Tata Steel Foundation, brings hands-on learning closer to real-world industry needs. The four-month programme covers Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) technologies and emerging mobility trends, helping young people build practical skills and become job-ready for the evolving automotive sector.

Through hands-on training in two-wheeler ICE servicing, the programme prepares students for confident careers while creating pathways to sustainable livelihoods.STEP

STEPNAGPUR: LEADERS SPOTLIGHT FUTURE- READY AUTOMOTIVE SKILLS Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari visited the Tata STRIVE Centre in Nagpur, engaging with students and experiencing its practical learning environment. The leaders appreciated the Centre’s CNG and EV two-wheeler technician courses, highlighting the importance of industry-aligned skills as Maharashtra’s EV ecosystem grows.

BHOPAL MADHYA PRADESH: CM GRACES STEP CENTRE MOU EXCHANGE Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mohan Yadav, graced the Industry Connect event at Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park, Bhopal, where the Bajaj Auto Foundation exchanged an MoU to establish a Bajaj STEP Centre. The partnership will provide youth with job-oriented training in two- and three- wheeler service technician skills, combining practical learning with a three-month vocational programme to create pathways to employment.STEP

STEPSOLAPUR: ADVANCING SKILLS FOR THE EV FUTURE The Small 2W EV STEP Centre in Solapur has been launched, with 20 students currently undergoing training ahead of their On-the-Job Training (OJT). The launch brought together dealers and stakeholders, while students showcased their skills and shared how hands-on training has strengthened their confidence and opened pathways to opportunities in the growing EV sector.

KOLHAPUR: STRENGTHENING THE EV TECHNICIAN WORKFORCE The Kolhapur Small (2W EV) STEP Centre was inaugurated on 5 June 2026 in partnership with GTT Foundation and Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe Institute of Engineering & Technology. Its first batch of 24 students has begun on-the-job training across prominent dealerships, responding to the growing demand for skilled EV technicians and supporting Kolhapur’s evolving electric mobility ecosystem.STEP

STEPNAGPUR TO THE NATIONAL STAGE: A STEP LEARNER’S JOURNEY Ankit Premshankar Shahu, a Bajaj STEP learner from Nagpur, progressed from the Zonal to State Level in the Vidarbha region, earning the opportunity to represent Vidarbha at the National Skill Competition at Bajaj Auto. His achievement was recognised with a Certificate of Participation, ₹10,000 cash award and a gift hamper, marking an important milestone in his skill-building journey.

BMS BMS × TATA MOTORS DHARWAD Students from JSS ITI College, Dharwad gained hands-on industry exposure through the Bajaj Manufacturing Systems (BMS) programme with a visit to the Tata Motors Dharwad Plant. The experience offered insights into modern manufacturing, quality standards and workplace safety, helping students connect technical learning with real-world applications and career opportunities.

OTHER INITIATIVES

ARPANSMALL ACTS, MEANINGFUL IMPACT Through volunteering activities with Rainbow Homes and Lokmanya Tilak School, PCMC, management trainees and interns engaged with children through creative, hands-on activities. From building science kits to transforming classrooms through wall painting, the initiatives encouraged teamwork, participation and care, creating more positive learning spaces for children.

ARPANLOKMANYA TILAK PCMC: LEARNING THROUGH DOING 23 Management Trainees engaged with 50 students through hands-on science activities, assembling 25 experiment kits and creating 20 educational science charts. The initiative encouraged curiosity, collaboration and learning by doing, making science more accessible while supporting SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

ARPANPANTNAGAR: MAKING STEM LEARNING INTERACTIVE 30 volunteers from the Pantnagar plant engaged with around 60 students at Child Sacred Public School through hands-on STEM and financial literacy activities. From exploring solar energy and food chains to creating science models and painting piggy banks, the initiative made learning practical and engaging while supporting quality education and stronger community partnerships.

ABHINAV BINDRA FOUNDATION PUNE: OLYMPIC VALUES EDUCATION PROGRAMME (OVEP) 23 Management Trainees engaged with 50 students through hands-on science activities, assembling 25 experiment kits and creating 20 educational science charts.
