As we move into October, I'd like to take a moment to reinforce the importance of looking out for one another and keeping Safety First at the heart of everything we do. Taking the time to challenge unsafe conditions, support colleagues, and follow our site procedures helps ensure that everyone goes home safe every day. Please also continue to remain vigilant in following all PPE and compliance requirements. Wearing the correct PPE, adhering to site standards, and maintaining good behaviours in our production and support areas are essential in helping us protect ourselves, our colleagues, and the quality of the products we manufacture. October also marks the start of The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Campaign 2026. There will be a number of activities taking place across the site during the month, giving us the opportunity to come together in support of this important cause. Please keep an eye out for further details and get involved where you can. The campaign encourages education, awareness, and action to help support breast health and wellbeing. Finally, we're looking for your help to improve how we communicate across the Whitman site. At the end of this brief you'll find a QR code linking to our Site Communications Survey. Please take a few minutes to share your feedback. Your views will help us better understand what information you want to receive, how you prefer to receive it, and how we can make our communications more relevant and engaging for everyone. 04 WEEKLY BRIEF This week we'd like to share with you the personal protective equipment (PPE) used in our Compounding department and explain why it is so important. During compounding activities, colleagues work with powders, liquids and chemical ingredients that can present a risk to eye health. To help protect against splashes, airborne particles and chemical exposure, splash and chemical eye protection must be worn at all times when compounding. Our eyes are irreplaceable, and taking a few moments to wear the correct PPE can prevent life-changing injuries. No task is so urgent that it cannot be completed safely. Protect your eyes. 05 WEEKLY BRIEF I want to take the time to thanks all the teams in Work Centre 1 for the results we have seen in the past quarter. These are truly remarkable considering the challenges we face with the increasing volume demand that is coming through. This is not just the operational teams, but all the other support functions around us that has helped with the successes we have seen. My thanks to everyone who supports us and for the great collaboration we have as a Work Centre. There are lots of activities going on in and around the Work Centre in the next couple of weeks -- with the installation of the carrier erector on Line 14 : this will be a labour saving to the line -- and the trial of a belt cleaner on Line 24 to support our autonomous maintenance. There are also automation projects going on cobots and palletisers being scoped for our area, and currently the project teams are working on these. We must remember as a site we are actively caring for one another at all times, and whilst supporting the volume, we have a lot of new staff on site and we must take the time to look out for one another and coach and guide our new members here on site. Our quality remains in a good position, but we must not take our eye off the ball. I value each and every one of you, and thank you for your continued support. Heidi Armstrong WC 1 Manager WEEKLY FOCUS Engineering Operations The Engineering Operations team continues to focus on successfully welcoming and embedding our new starters, ensuring they are supported, trained and integrated into the "One Team" culture from day one. Alongside this, the team remains committed to driving equipment reliability across the shop floor, maintaining strong PM compliance, and providing responsive operational support to keep production running efficiently. Team development also remains a key priority, with ongoing coaching, training and skills enhancement helping to build capability, strengthen succession plans and support the site's long-term reliability journey Operations - WC 1

His priorities at Whitman are clear: developing and supporting our engineering team, driving equipment reliability, and strengthening the partnership between Engineering and Operations. He believes great reliability comes from a skilled, well-supported team that has the right tools, training and time to do the job properly. OTHER NEWS !! Foot Locker FINAL REMINDER Action Required !! A reminder that all foot lockers must be secured using the new Whitman-approved padlock. If your locker currently has a personal padlock or any padlock that is not Whitman-approved, please replace it immediately. From 5 October, any foot locker found with an incorrect or personal padlock will be opened, the padlock removed, and any contents taken out for collection. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a consistent and secure locker management system.10 WEEKLY BRIEF
