DUA PRESENTS The Last Lecture BA Edition Three Semesters, Countless Lessons, One Final Thank You. A classroom farewell for our BA faculty - Semester III Event Coordinator: ABHAY SINGH YADAV WHEN End of Sem III date to be confirmed DURATION 40-45 minutes short and sweet WHERE Our classroom no stage needed BUDGET approx. ₹3,500 proposed, flexible Why we're doing this In just three semesters, our BA faculty have taught us to read more carefully, argue more clearly and look beyond the obvious. As we move on to the next phase of law school, DUA wants to say thank you the way it should be said: warmly, with a little humour, and with everyone in the class involved. This is not a formal ceremony. It is a classroom tribute that belongs to all of us. What's planned A The DUA Honours A personalised award and citation for each teacher, printed as a certificate. Warm, witty, never embarrassing. B The Final Verdict A 4-5 minute mock courtroom skit. The State v. Semester 3 Students: charged with leaving the BA behind without thanking the faculty. C Notes We Never Said Handwritten notes from every student, sorted into an envelope for each teacher. "One thing I'll always remember from your class..." D The BA Memory Wall A poster titled "Before We Became Law Students..." with class photos, memories and quotes, with space for faculty to write back. Plus: a welcome - small gifts - cake & refreshments - group photographs The gifts: simple and equal for every teacher A useful notebook and pen (₹250-₹400 each), the DUA certificate with a unique award title, and a keepsake: a class photograph or a collective letter. Actual costs and contributions will be decided with the class. Pay what you comfortably can; every rupee will be recorded and the final accounts shared. Call for volunteers Want to be part of the organising team? DUA is looking for enthusiastic classmates to help with the roles below. Tell the event coordinator which role interests you.
