KBEC [ KRISHI BHAVAN EXPERIENCE CENTRE] 02 KBEC is a contemporary indoor plant nursery and workspace designed to create a calming, nature-connected environment that combines plant retail, hydroponic display systems, workspace functions, and customer interaction areas within a single cohesive interior. The project focuses on integrating biophilic design principles with functional planning to enhance user comfort, productivity, and sensory experience. The design language follows a warm earthy aesthetic using natural textures, muted tones, greenery, soft lighting, and seamless finishes to create a modern yet inviting atmosphere. The space is intended to feel peaceful, breathable, and visually connected to nature while maintaining efficient circulation and workspace functionality.
ZONING The ground floor plan of KBEC is designed as a multifunctional indoor plant nursery and workspace that integrates nature with modern interior planning. The layout focuses on creating a seamless flow between public interaction spaces, plant display zones, educational areas, and functional workspaces. The design follows a biophilic and earthy contemporary approach using natural materials, warm lighting, greenery, and seamless finishes to create a calm and engaging environment. Spatial planning prioritizes accessibility, user comfort, efficient movement, and visual connectivity throughout the interior spaces. The first floor serves as the Administrative Zone, housing key operational spaces including the information desk, office workstations, director's cabin, meeting room, and support facilities. Organized around a central circulation core, the layout ensures efficient workflow, accessibility, and a clear hierarchy of functions.
