Works03 Sec-50 Hotel Courtyard by Marriot, Gurugram Located in Gurugram, an NCR with the backdrop of one of the pro- gressively developing hub of IT sector in India, the projet intends to provide a comfortable and convenient place to stay for the working professionals in the region. The hotel has 83 Guest rooms, 10 Suite rooms with ammenties like all-day-dining, restaurants, bars, halls etc which are the key require- ments as per the brand of Courtyard by Marriot. Other amenities in- clude meeting rooms, gym, spa, swimming pool, terrace dining ets. It has 3 levels of basement which covers the parking requirements and other essential services of the building and its site. In order to fulfil the brand requirement, bay windows are proposed by utilizing its re- maining FAR and 2% compoundable area. Works07 The First Acre Affordable Group Housing, Gurugram With expanding population in the NCR region, the need for living space is increasing rapidly. Along with the need, affordability and the amenities provided also became a huge factor in the Housing Industry. In this project ‘The First Acre’, the major intent is to provide the af- fordable housing by using low cost building material, simple yet aes- thetic design etc and also include essential amenties on site. It has 13 residential towers with 10 habitable floors at lowest and 32 habitable floors at highest. The site also has a commercial block and a club house. Physical Model - Tower A,B & C GFRC Jali Facade Design Intent Colour Theme Most of the units in each tower have washroom located in the front and rear facade of the building. In order to cover up the ventilators and dead wall, GFRC Jali facade act as an efficient barrier without compromising the aesthetics of the buidling and ventilation outlets of the washrooms. The GFRC Jali and RCC band seamlessly forms a vibrant and uniform look to all the towers on site. The side elevations of the tower also have dead wall and grooves has been added to give some texture in the facade. Academic11 Loktak EcoLive Eco Livelihood Hub, Loktak Lake Department of Tourism Manipur has proposed an Mega Eco Tourism Project for Loktak Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in South- east Asia famous for its floating Islands. The mega project aims to promote socio-economic condition of the state through environmental awareness, bidiversity conservation and sustainable livelihood as a part of Eco Tourism. As a sub project, ‘Nature Experience and Livelihood Hub’ intents to serve as an immersive educational space, engaging visitors in un- derstanding and appreciating the diverse ecosystem of Loktak Lake while emphasizing the importance of supporting local livelihoods.
