çiya sofrasi: my favourite for authentic kebabs in the asian side! seven hills restaurant: great views of Hagia Sophia pandeli: located in spice bazaar, one of the best of all times! definitely try their hünkar begendi & almond cookies çiçek pasajı: if you’d like to have some raki&mezes this is the best place to go! baran et mangal: another favourite for kebabs by the aquaduct sur balik cihangir: amazing views, lovely neighborhood and the best fish!DINNER

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…this is my all time favourite book on the history of Istanbul, could actually be my favourite book of all timeshighly recommend carrying a bit of cat treats with you and visiting the cat museum by the Galata Tower!my favourite island is Burgazada and make sure to stay for the sunset at the Madam Martha Bay!
