Douneside House Time Attendance all staff FINAL

Douneside House Time & Attendance Rota Ready Clocking in and out: Clocking in and out for each shift is a requirement of all Douneside employees. It is important that you remember to clock in and out for the following reasons: - In the event of an emergency, the nominated person in charge can check who is on duty at any time. This is especially important in the case of a fire related evacuation. - For any team members who may work additional hours, it allows for your line manager to accurately record any time owed (TOIL) On commencement of your role, your line manager will show you where the Rotaready clocking in and out tablet is located (underneath the main fire panel by the staff entrance). For more info on how to use the Rotaready tablet, please see below: Using the Rotaready tablet: 1. Tap the screen to clear the screensaver, if necessary 2. Tap your name, or first letter of your surname if necessary 3. Enter your clock in PIN

4. To ‘clock out’ follow the steps above and select ‘clock out’ If you experience any issues clocking in or out, please notify your line manager straight away. Breaks: All team members working six hours, or more are entitled to a 30-minute unpaid break each shift. Please see your line manager regarding a suitable time for your break each day Holiday Requests: Your line manager will take you through the absence request process on RR as part of your induction. You can expect any requests to be approved within 7 days. If you are scheduled to be working a breakfast chef shift or health club shift (both shifts start before 8am) then you should contact the duty manager mobile on 07867313082 at least 2 hours before your shift is due to start.
