02 Please read this manual carefully before installation and keep it for future reference. Before installation, make sure the door is properly aligned and opens and closes freely. Keep the door open while installing and testing the lock to help prevent accidental lockouts. Follow all installation steps in the order shown. DO NOT install or connect the battery pack until the lock has been fully installed. This product contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. Use only the battery pack and charging cable supplied with this product, or Nyboer-approved replacements. Do not disassemble, puncture, crush, modify, or expose the battery pack to fire, water, direct sunlight, or excessive heat. Do not use or charge the battery pack if it is damaged, swollen, leaking, or unusually hot. Dispose of the battery pack in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations. Do not dispose of it with household waste. 21 C. Video Call Remote Unlock Press the doorbell button on the lock. The app may take a moment to receive the call notification. Option 1: View the video and tap the icon to unlock directly. Option 2: Tap the Answer icon for two-way audio, then unlock remotely.
Note: Past videos require a cloud storage plan and are not saved locally on the lock. 22 D. About the Camera Volume Turn sound on or off. Snapshot Take a photo and save it to your phone album. 23 When motion is detected at your door, the camera can record video and send an alert. Motion Detection (If needed)2 Tip: Higher sensitivity may drain the battery faster. Use a lower sensitivity level to help save battery. Notification details can also be found in Settings. You can turn on Motion Detection in Camera Settings and choose a sensitivity level. 1 2

Tip: For children, elderly users, or users with faint fingerprints, add the same finger more than once from different angles to improve recognition.

2. Remote Unlock Is Not Available 1. Lock initialization fails Make sure the battery is installed and has enough power. Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds to wake or reset the lock. Follow the voice prompts and enter the initial setup code 3. The App Does Not Receive Doorbell Calls Make sure app notifications are enabled on your phone. Check that the lock is online and connected to Wi-Fi. Keep the app updated to the latest version. 29 4. Why is the live video loading slowly? A weak Wi-Fi signal may cause delays. Move your router closer to the lock or connect the lock to a stronger 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. 5. The app cannot find the lock. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and your phone is close to the lock. Restart the app and try again. 6. The lock keeps beeping. Check the app for low-battery alerts or error messages. Recharge the battery pack if needed. Make sure the lock is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
