CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: G1-SERVE-TIMER DATE: JUNE 21, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: I’ve always thought that NSTP helps mold students into better people by teaching us how to serve our community and our country. As I got to know more about it through our CWTS teacher Mr. Ocera, I discovered that it is mandated by our law which was in Republic Act 9163, which means that the government has a clear agenda in preparing the youth for nation-building. To me, NSTP is not just a subject to complete at Holy Angel University, but it is about developing us students to become more responsible and being aware of the needs of the real world community. Knowing that NSTP is supported by law helped me understand that the government really values youth involvement in nation-building which made me take it a lot more seriously because it became an eye opener for me that the civic duty is not something that we can choose to do, it is something that we are expected to do as part of big society. Because of this, I now see myself not only as a student, but as someone who can be part of change by giving back to the community even in small ways.
