St James thanks everyone who supports our missions through faithful stewardship with gifts and talents. Your talents were displayed at our turkey dinner that went so smoothly as we were able to serve over 300 meals in 90 minutes when we unfortunately ran out of turkey, although most of our turkey eaters came early so not too many missed out. The Church Council decided we need to replace our old sound system to reduce the screeches and improve clarity. The cost will exceed $8,000 to get the job done. We are also mindful that our services are viewed on YouTube with a substantial number of views of 48 average last month. The Church leadership also decided to provide additional support to Amos Davidson as he pursues ordination in the Global Methodist Church. The church has requested an R-1 Religious Worker visa for Amos which includes a 20 hour weekly position consisting of preaching, bible studies, visitation, prayer meetings, and providing pastoral care. Remuneration is set at $1000 monthly. Thank you, Norm Mahoney, for heading the Stewardship campaign including leading the service and all the work you do to help Amos with his change of visa application.Mike Smith, Finance ChairSunday, November 1, 2026, at 2:00 a.m. (local time moved back to 1:00 a.m., gaining an extra hour of sleep).DD aa yy ll ii gg hh tt D a y l i g h tSS aa vv ii nn gg ss S a v i n g sTT ii mm ee T i m eStewardship, Sound System and Supportt h a n kyou
