EPARWA_E-JOURNAL (1st Institution)

A daily journal documenting the on-the-job training experience of a PUP College of Communication student at the university library. The entries cover tasks such as attaching barcodes, inventorying furniture and theses, assisting professors at the College of Education, and learning check-out and check-in procedures at the COC Library.

This is an on-the-job training journal written by Raya Alexa Eparwa, a student from the PUP College of Communication. It documents her OJT deployment at the university library system, starting from September 15, 2026. The journal is intended for academic submission as part of her OJT requirements.

The first entries describe her initial assignment to the Main Library's Technical Division, where she attached barcodes and call number labels to books. She then spent two days at the College of Education assisting professors with document organization, printing, and labeling tasks.

On Day 4, she officially started at the College of Communication Library under supervisor Ma'am Niña. Her tasks included inventorying furniture and equipment, then organizing and recording theses in an Excel sheet. She also learned to check out and check in borrowed books.

Later entries cover her Saturday duties with Ma'am Tes, where she handled thesis borrowing requests and learned cataloging of serial materials. The journal describes a stressful rainy day, shelf-reading theses by call numbers, and the gradual progress of inventorying theses from 2000 to 2007.

The final entries detail the completion of the thesis inventory on October 2, 2026, and her last day at the COC Library. She reflects on working with fellow trainees Kat and Irene, and expresses gratitude to the library staff who guided her through the deployment.
