The CLG advances responsive and evidence-informed local governance through research, capacity development, policy engagement, and partnerships. Its research agenda covers e-government, local economic growth, peace studies, human resource management, public order and safety, risk management, access to justice, peace-building, good governance, human rights, digital governance, and policy development.
The brochure lists the CLG team: John Dale S. Belderol as Center Head, Vina P. Antonio as University Research Associate II, and Meggy Frances L. Alava as University Research Associate I. It notes the center was established in 2021.
