This program encourages students, teachers, and the entire school community to appreciate gardening, practice proper nutrition, and develop a sense of responsibility in caring for the environment. Through the cultivation of fresh vegetables, the school aims to provide nutritious food that can support the feeding program and help promote the health and well- being of both students and teachers. By providing healthy meals, the program helps students stay active, focused, and ready to learn while encouraging everyone to adopt healthy eating habits. With the active participation and cooperation of the school community, Mahalo Elementary School continues to nurture not only plants but also healthy minds and bodies, creating a greener, healthier, and more productive learning environment for all.
