This brochure presents Mettle Energy Ltd, an OEM manufacturer of low-voltage LFP battery packs based in Surat, India. It is intended for established brands that want battery packs built to their own design and standards, carrying their own branding. Mettle works exclusively as an OEM partner, not under its own brand.
The document describes the manufacturing facility: a 12 PPM line handling LFP prismatic cells from 100 to 314 Ah, in 4S to 16S configurations. The six-step process runs from cell sorting and stacking through busbar fitting, laser welding, pack assembly and end-of-line testing. The plant has a 5 GWh annual capacity and is promoted by the Salona Group and JB Group.
Four working models are offered: build to print (your design, BOM, BMS and enclosure), job work (you supply cells and materials), full supply (Mettle sources to your approved list) and co-development (joint design refinement before production). All designs, BOM and pricing stay under NDA.
Applications covered include home and commercial backup, solar storage, telecom and electric mobility. Packs can be wall-mounted, rack-mounted, floor-standing or vehicle-tray fitted. The enclosure follows the partner's design, and the partner's logo, colours and labels appear on every pack. Mettle supports certification for India (BIS IS 16046, EPR), electric mobility (AIS-156), stationary storage (IEC 62619, IEC 62933, IEC 61427, UL 1973) and transport (UN 38.3).
Quality traceability is detailed: cell lot, capacity bin, weld parameters and test results are recorded per serial number. Incoming inspection, in-process checks (plasma cleaning, CCD weld inspection, polarity and insulation) and end-of-line charge-discharge and BMS protection tests are standard.
