Learning Content Discovery What's In It for Me • Academy Leaders: This work gives leaders a clearer view of what learning content exists across their area, so it can be represented in future AI readiness planning. While this effort does not address content governance or updates, it helps ensure the right content is identified early as we prepare for future AI-enabled learning opportunities. • L&D Associates/ Content Owners: Your input helps ensure the learning materials you create, use, manage, or support are included in the AI readiness inventory. This does not require you to rewrite, redesign, or update materials at this stage; it simply helps us understand what content exists today and whether it may be relevant for future AI-enabled learning use cases. Why This Matters • This work supports our long-term vision of making learning content easier to find, maintain, and use across the academy. Connection to AI Readiness Strategy • We are beginning the next phase of our AI Readiness work: content discovery and collection. • This phase is focused on understanding what learning content exists today, where it lives, who owns it, and how ready it is to support future AI-enabled learning experiences. • AI tools are only as effective as the content they can access and interpret. • Before we can prepare content for future AI use, we need a clear inventory of what exists today and where the biggest gaps or opportunities are. What we need from Content Owners • Content owners will be asked to help identify and share learning materials within their area of responsibility. • This may include facilitator guides, participant guides, eLearning files, job aids, process documents, user guides, templates, videos, or other training-related resources. t a mandate — participation is voluntary and self-directed • We are asking content owners to confirm ownership, provide location details, and help us identify whether content is current or outdated. We need to understand what exists, where it lives, who owns it, and how ready is it to support future AI-enabled learning experiences.
Expected Outcomes • Build a foundational inventory of academy learning content for AI readiness. • Improve visibility into what content exists, where it lives, who owns it, and how current it is. • Create a clearer starting point for future AI preparation work, including tagging, chunking, and content structuring.
