Because of You: Impact Report 2025 Because of You: Impact Report 2025
HOSPICE INPATIENT UNIT SUPPORT In 2025, more than $60,000 in donor support helped sustain the specialized care provided at the Lawlis Family Hospice and The Kathy Hospice. Because of this generosity, patients and families experienced peaceful, home-like environments where comfort, dignity, and expert care remain the focus at the end of life. Through a special fund, we were able to purchase seven new hospice beds and seven over-the-bed tables, enhancing the quality, safety, and comfort of care for those we serve. These gifts directly support our ability to meet patients where they are with compassion, dignity, and excellence. In 2025, $12,806 was awarded six nurses to help ease the burden of student loan debt. For four nurses, this support meant becoming debt-free, an incredible gift that allows them to focus more fully on providing compassionate care each day.
EVERY DONATION TELLS A STORY When you gave in 2025, you helped someone feel less alone. You helped a family say goodbye with peace. You made space for healing when it mattered most. Because of your generosity, patients and families across our community experienced comfort, dignity, and connection during life’s most difficult moments. Every gift, large or small, became something meaningful and has touched lives in ways that will not be forgotten. Whether you gave in memory of a loved one, joined us at the gala or golf outing, or supported our year-end efforts, you are part of this story. Your kindness reaches far beyond a single moment, bringing care, compassion, and support to those who need it most. On behalf of all of us at Horizon, thank you for being part of this work and for making it possible each day. Sincerely, Marcy Stutzman Chief Philanthropy Officer11002 W.
