043 WARRANTYEXCLUSIONSThis warranty does not apply or extend to defects or damage to FGV Products or any other property or goods which are caused by or arise from:a incorrect or faulty installation, fitting, adjustment, repair or maintenance; b misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental damage; c excessive loading or use beyond a product’s specified rating or capacity; d unauthorised modification, alteration or repair; e failure to follow Hettich’s published instructions; f use of a product for purposes other than those for which the product is or was intended; g normal wear and tear, including scratches and cosmetic deterioration; or h external causes including fire, heat, steam, water inundation, humidity, corrosion, building movement, chemical exposure or other events beyond Hettich’s reasonable control. 05AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAWOur goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the purchaser under the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable law.
063 WARRANTYHOW TO CLAIMTo make a claim, notify Hettich Customer Service within the Warranty Period by any of the following: 07LIMITATIONPHONE 1800 687 789EMAIL support-au@hettich.comWRITE 6 Entolasia Close Kemps Creek NSW 2178Together with your notice, provide:a proof of purchase (typically a receipt); b details of the alleged defect, including a photograph of the product and any other information Hettich Customer Service requests; c if applicable, the place and date of installation of the product; and at Hettich’s request, return the relevant product to Hettich for inspection and testing. Hettich will only reimburse the purchaser’s reasonable costs of pursuing the claim, including any transport costs, on acceptance of a warranty claim.Except for rights which cannot lawfully be excluded, Hettich’s liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies set out in clause 3 and does not extend to:a any indirect, consequential or incidental loss including loss of profits, business interruption or loss of opportunity; b damage to any other property or goods; and d costs incurred in removing a defective product or installing a replacement product.
