The moon was shining softly. Benny Bunny was getting ready for bed.
But then Benny saw something glowing. It was hiding in the grass!
“Hello, little light,” whispered Benny. “I think you are lost.”
Benny looked up at the sky. “How can we get you home?”
Benny stretched as high as he could. But the moon was much too far away!
“Maybe we can help!” Fifi Fox came running through the meadow.
Then Milo Bear came along. “Let’s lift it together!”
“One, two, three!” Up went the little moonbeam!
The moonbeam floated higher and higher. It was almost home!
The moonbeam slipped back into the moon. The whole sky began to sparkle.
The moon sent three tiny sparkles down. One for each kind friend.
Benny smiled and snuggled into bed. “Kind hearts make bright nights.”
