3 1) OVERVIEW This machine contains three units: a) Main Panel (Master – TFT Display) b) Modulator c) Detector

4 MASTER 1) KEY DESCRIPTION a) TEST KEY - Used to test hardware functions. b) SILENT KEY - Used to do silent operation after error occurance. c) RESET KEY - To reset all errors. 2) MACHINE SETTINGS Home Screen 2.1) MENU BUTTON Password Entry Screen When the operator presses the MENU button, the password entry screen opens. Enter the password “2121” and then press the ENTER button. The main menu settings screen will then open. The Main Menu contains six submenus, as shown on the Main Menu screen: a) Device Settings b) System Details

5 c) Device Reports d) Set Floor Number e) Set Area Details f) Set Zone Main Menu Screen The home icon on the right side is used to exit the menu screen and return to the home page. And The return icon on the right side, shown in the image below, is used to exit the current page. A) DEVICE SETTING In device setting, there are four setting options as listed below, a) Set Time b) Set Date c) Erase Fire Event Log d) Erase Fault Log Device Setting Submenus a) Set Time To edit the time, touch the white box. The keypad screen will appear. Enter the time in HH:MM:SS format, then press ENTER to set it. If the format is incorrect, the screen will display "WRONG FORMAT"; otherwise, it will display "DONE."

6 Time Set Screen b) Set Date Date Set Screen To edit the date, touch the white box. The keypad screen will appear. Enter the date in DD:MM:YYYY format, then press ENTER to set it. If the format is incorrect, the screen will display "WRONG FORMAT"; otherwise, it will display "DONE." c) Erase Fire Event Logs The fire event log erase operation is password protected. When the operator presses this button, the password entry screen appears. Enter the password “2121” and then press the ENTER button. The fire event logs stored in memory will be erased, and the message “EVENT ERASE SUCCESSFULLY” will appear on the screen. d) Erase Fault Logs The fault log erase operation is password protected. When the operator presses this button, the password entry screen appears. Enter the password “2121” and then press the ENTER button. The fault logs stored in memory will be erased, and the message “FAULT ERASE SUCCESSFULLY” will appear on the screen.

7 B) SYSTEM DETAILS Set Floor Details Screen C) DEVICE REPORTS Download Report Submenus Screen In device report, there are two options as listed below, 1) Fire Event Log 2) Fault Log 1) Fire Event Log The machine has the facility to store event data in memory. Whenever the user wants to download the event data, connect the device to the PC software using a USB-to-RS485 converter. Select the appropriate COM port and set the baud rate to 115200. Then press the Fire Event Log button. The data will be transferred to the PC software. 2) Fault Log The machine has the facility to store fault event data in memory. Whenever the user wants to download the data, connect the device to the PC software using a USB-to-RS485 converter. Select the appropriate COM port and set the baud rate to 115200. Then press the Fault Log button. The data will be transferred to the PC software.

8 D) SET FLOOR NUMBER Set Floor No. Screen This setting is used to set the modulator ID (or floor number). To set the ID, touch the white box; the keypad will open. Ensure that only one modulator is connected to the main panel. Enter an ID between 01 and 99, then press the ENTER/ESC button to set it. E) SET AREA DETAILS This setting is used to set the detector ID. Means to define the area in flat. To set the area, touch the white box; the keypad will open. Ensure that only one modulator is connected to the main panel and only one detector is connected to modulator. Enter an ID between A-01 and A-15, then press the ENTER/ESC button to set it. Here A01 means, A = Flat number 1 01 = Kitchen For more details check image Set area details screen below. Set Area Details Screen

9 F) SET ZONE Set Zone This setting is used to set the zone number to modulator. To set the zone number, touch the white box; the keypad will open. Ensure that only one modulator is connected to the main panel. Enter a zone number between 01 and 99, then press the ENTER/ESC button to set it. 2.2) TEST BUTTON As the name the test button is used to test the hardware. Set Test Mode 2.3) EVENT BUTTON
