The programme opens with a welcome from first team manager Matthew Boswell. He discusses the team's recent form, injuries and suspensions, and notes the return of Louis Clark and Josh Hesson. He also comments on player movement at this stage of the season and expresses confidence in the squad's depth.
A detailed history of Barnton FC follows, covering their founding in 1946, their long membership of the Mid-Cheshire League (later the Cheshire Association Football League), their eleven league titles and their victory in the National League Systems Cup in 2003/04. It also recounts their FA Cup and FA Vase appearances and their move to the North West Counties League in 2014.
The programme includes a player profile for Oliver Cooper, the Shawbury captain, listing his age, previous club, preferred pre-game meal and his self-assessed strengths and areas for improvement. A 'Facts Teammates' section gives informal notes on squad members' role models, dress sense and shower habits.
A history of Shawbury United FC traces the club from its formation in 1992 through its rise from the Shrewsbury and Shropshire Alliance to the West Midlands League and the Midland Football League. It covers ground moves, management changes, FA Vase runs and the development of the new Shawbury ground, which opened for the 2024/25 season with a clubhouse, 100-seater stand and multiple pitches.
The programme also contains the latest NWCFL Division 1 South league table and a list of today's fixtures in the division. It concludes with a squad page listing player names.
