Patrícia Anastassiadis The concept of the new Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema, designed by Patricia Anastassiadis, blends the building’s modernist identity with organic shapes, warm textures, and natural light. Light woods, travertine, linen, and bronze evoke the essence of Ipanema, while Brazilian design, art, and local references create a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere where French elegance meets Carioca authenticity. "The Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema marks the meeting point between a sophisticated atmosphere, freedom, and the French perspective that falls in love with the carioca soul. The design incorporates brightness and warmth, creating a meeting point between Brazilian spirit and French elegance." Patricia Anastassiadis, Architect of Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Ipanema

A R T P I E C E ARTUR LESCHER Artur Lescher stands out in the current landscape of Brazilian contemporary art for his three-dimensional works. For over thirty years, he has presented a solid body of work, the result of research focused on the interplay between matter, form, and thought. These are works that transcend the character of sculpture and intersect the languages of installation and object, aiming to alter the understanding of both these forms and the space in which they are situated.

A R T P I E C E FERNANDA SANTOS Born in 1986 in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, the artist spent her childhood and teenage years surrounded by the colors and rhythms of her hometown. At 22, she moved to São Paulo, where she continues to live and create. Her journey began with digital art, shared and sold through online platforms. As she explored new creative territories, she discovered the world of visual arts—and in 2021, she embraced painting. Her early works danced between abstraction and figuration, gradually leading her into the realm of observational drawing, where she found deep inspiration in human faces and stories.Today, her work is centered on the celebration of Black identity and ancestry. Through vibrant portraiture, she paints Black individuals with elegance, strength, and style—often adorned with fashion accessories like hats, scarves, and sunglasses. Luxury brands appear in her pieces not just as aesthetic elements, but as powerful symbols of Black presence, agency, and economic power. A self-taught, independent visual artist, she brings together memory, beauty, and representation in every canvas
