In a sunny meadow lived a tiny bunny named Benny. Benny loved soft grass, sweet flowers, and warm hugs from his family. But there was one thing he did not like… Trying new things. 1

Every morning, Benny watched the other little animals play beyond the meadow. “I’ll stay here,” he whispered. “It feels safer.” 2

3 One day, a bright yellow butterfly landed beside him. "Would you like to explore with me?" asked the butterfly. Benny shook his head. "I might get scared."

4 The butterfly smiled kindly. "You don't have to be fearless. You only have to be brave enough to take one small step."

5Benny looked at his tiny paws. He took... One little hop. Nothing bad happened.

6 Soon he met a cheerful squirrel collecting acorns. "Great job!" said the squirrel. "Every adventure begins with one step." Benny smiled.

They walked together until they reached a sparkling stream. Benny felt nervous again. "I don't think I can cross." 7

8 The squirrel found a smooth log across the water. "I'll go first," said the squirrel. "You can follow when you're ready."

9Benny took a deep breath. Hop...Hop...Hop! He crossed the stream! "I did it!" he laughed.

10 On the other side was the most beautiful flower garden Benny had ever seen. Butterflies danced. Birds sang. Everything was wonderful.

11 "If I never tried," Benny thought, "I would have missed all of this."

12That evening, Benny returned home with a happy heart. He wasn't fearless. He was brave. And tomorrow... He couldn't wait for another adventure.

13Little Lesson Being brave doesn't mean you're never scared. Being brave means trying, even when you feel afraid. You can do amazing things— one small step at a time.
