Neo.Fashion 2026: Where the Future of Fashion Takes ShapeBerlin once again proved why it remains one of the world's most exciting capitals for emerging creativity. During Neo.Fashion 2026, the D.WONDER Magazine editorial team had the opportunity to experience three inspiring days dedicated to the next generation of fashion designers, digital innovators, and visionary artists. More than a traditional fashion event, Neo.Fashion has become a platform where education, technology, craftsmanship, sustainability, and artistic experimentation come together. Throughout the presentations, runway shows, panel discussions, and showroom exhibitions, one message became clear: the future of fashion is already here—and it is being shaped by young creators. One of the strongest impressions from this year's event was the incredible diversity of new design voices. Graduates from leading fashion universities presented collections that explored identity, sustainability, craftsmanship, innovative materials, and contemporary social issues. Every runway introduced fresh perspectives and demonstrated how fashion continues to evolve beyond aesthetics into a powerful form of storytelling. For D.WONDER Magazine, one of the highlights was the growing presence of Digital Fashion. Conversations around artificial intelligence, virtual collections, 3D design workflows, and emerging digital business models confirmed that technology is no longer an addition to fashion—it has become one of its driving forces. The Digital Fashion Panel illustrated how designers are redefining creativity through immersive experiences and virtual innovation.NEO_FASHION_SS27_Backstage_by_@defrance.images_009NEO_FASHION_SS27_Backstage_by_@defrance.images_009

Berlin once again proved why it remains one of the world's most exciting capitals for emerging creativity. These creators are not simply designing garments—they are designing new experiences, new identities, and new possibilities for the industry. Beyond the runway, Neo.Fashion created an environment where meaningful conversations could happen. Students, designers, industry professionals, media representatives, researchers, and technology experts exchanged ideas, creating valuable connections that will continue to influence the future of fashion. The event also highlighted the importance of supporting emerging talent on an international level. With participants from Germany and abroad, Neo.Fashion demonstrated that creative innovation knows no borders and that collaboration remains one of the industry's greatest strengths. At D.WONDER Magazine, we believe that tomorrow's fashion industry will be built by creators who embrace experimentation, sustainability, digital technologies, and interdisciplinary thinking. D.WONDER Allan Gregorio Digital Artist & Creative Technologist · Interview

D.WONDERHow do you see your journey from a young visual artist to a globally recognized creative technologist, which stages and moments were most important for you?It started long before any screen. As a kid in São Paulo, I watched my grandmother paint everything around her, dishcloths, bedsheets, t-shirts, and that quietly taught me art can live on any surface. Losing my mother early sent me into fantasy worlds, and those became the language I still build in. At seventeen I assisted a portrait photographer, which trained my eye, and graphic design became the bridge that carried that eye into technology. When I started playing with augmented reality, everything connected: the lens, the software, the fantasy, all in one place. The turning point was realising a filter is not lesser art than a canvas, it is just a different surface. That is really what my work has always been, a mix of art and technology in whatever shape it takes.Your style combines fantasy, digital aesthetics, and social sensitivity, which sources of inspiration, people, or cultures matter most to you?My inspiration comes from things I have lived and consumed, not from one tidy source. A song, a place I passed through, something I saw or watched, a person I met, all of it feeds the work. The deepest roots are my grandmother, who showed me art needs no permission and no proper surface, and fantasy, which gave me the vocabulary, Avatar, mythology, MMORPGs, the elves and mermaids and sirens that still show up as the same escape hatches I needed as a kid. Growing up queer, and without much, gave the work its social edge, so it carries where I come from and who I am without lecturing about it. Internet culture is in there too, because that is genuinely where I live. I tend to absorb things quietly and let them resurface later, transformed into something of my own

D.WONDERHow do you choose collaborations with brands and artists: what matters more to you, creative alignment, project scale, or impact on the audience?Creative alignment, first and clearly. The question I ask is simple: do they understand what I do, and will they give the work room to be strange? A lot of it is also adapting to their vision, meeting halfway and building something together, that compromise is part of the job. The projects I enjoy most, though, are the ones where the collaborator trusts me fully with the creative process. I have turned down bigger jobs that wanted me to flatten the idea, and taken smaller ones that let me try something new. Reach is good, but it is an outcome, not a reason to say yes.Allan Gregorio · gregorio.io

D.WONDERHow has your relationship with AR and immersive technologies changed over time: from experiment to tool, from fascination to something deeper? In the beginning AR was pure experiment, a toy I could not stop playing with. Then my first filter hit 200,000 views in a little over a week, and that changed how I saw it. I work across different kinds of art, and AR was the first medium that gave me that fast reach, the first time I really felt the impact a piece could make on social media. After that I started noticing something deeper too: people use these filters to express themselves and try on other versions of who they are. Over the years it matured into one instrument among many, alongside CGI and AI, rather than the whole point. I stay grounded about it though, because the screen is powerful but real change still happens in the physical worldWhat do you plan to develop next, more realistic digital twins, radical fantasy, new forms of social interaction in AR, or something else entirely?Honestly, what I want most is to keep doing the work I love and collaborating with brands. Living as an artist and sustaining it is not easy, you are always reinventing, recreating, looking for different perspectives. Just navigating that is its own kind of development. Lately I have been experimenting a lot with AI, not as a replacement but as a way to improve and push the work further. Where it goes next matters less to me than staying curious and able to keep makingAllan Gregorio · gregorio.io

This storyarc style photoshoot follows a POC women, struggling to fit in within society due to her elaborate hair. Her direct contrast to the slick back hair movement derving from ‘quiet luxury’ and ‘clean girl aesthetic’ trend, makes her feel devalued in perception of femininty, adulthood and beauty. The storyarc covers three stages: 1. Trapped, 2. Performance and 3. Freedom. The overall shoot aims to provide commentary on beauty standards as a whole, which often derive from extremely westernized points of view and how individuals perform the trend to be percieved as an aspirational standard. Accepting what you have, and becoming whole. Allowing your playful inner child through your energy makes you so much more free, but also enchanting to percieve. The photoshoot aims to encourage viewers to embrance their inner children and use that energy in cultivating their divine inner self. Elegance is not conformity neither is the energy of the feminine. Never diminish your light. Your inner child.

Mulin Chen D.WONDERCity, malfunction

Mulin Chen D.WONDER“City, malfunction” is a visual exploration of a parallel, distorted metropolis where the raw, gritty atmosphere of late 20th-century New York intersects with the invisible presence of modern artificial intelligence. Inspired by the analog textures and rain-slicked streets of New York City in the 1980s and 90s, this series captures the friction between a nostalgic past and a simulated future.

Mulin Chen D.WONDERBy grounding surrealist, machine generated anomalies within low-quality, retro-feeling imagery, the work creates an unsettling yet intriguing visual impact. Everyday urban scenes bend under the weight of algorithmic interference: newspapers warp into fluid, dynamic distortions; while human figures dissolve into data streams and neon reflections across. In this world, the system hasn't just integrated into the daily life of every New Yorker - it is actively glitching, forcing us to question where the memory of the city ends and the simulation begins.

He feels obsessed with the pop culture that he shows in his works. He has explored photography, video art, writing, and collage. He writes for some media. He also shares art and culture in his new blog: Pop Sonality. . About José Luis Seijas García (Seigar).

D.WONDER The Tales series is the definitive showcase for my travel and street photography. Through these visual narratives, my primary goal is to channel the essence of the Latin aphorism Carpe Diem. To me, it signifies an awakening—a call to embrace life to its fullest. While enjoying existence is vital, prioritizing self-care is equally essential: nourishing our bodies, staying active, and allowing ourselves proper rest. I have come to realize that two fundamental steps can elevate our well-being, transform our lives, and deepen our relationship with ourselves and our daily routines. First, we must listen to our inner selves, reflecting on the discoveries made within our thoughts and internal monologues. Second, we must practice mindfulness regarding how we think, speak, and act toward ourselves. Our inner dialogue matters; it should be kind, nurturing, and ultimately the very best version of what we have to offer. These concepts are deeply interconnected. I am also profoundly captivated by the concept of freedom. The ongoing discourse surrounding censorship and cancel culture frequently brings to mind the image of a caged bird with its doors flung wide open—it is entirely free to fly. So, let us fly! Let us take decisive action instead of dwelling in complaint. If only we recognized the immense power we hold in our own hands—it is entirely up to us. We make the choices. We are free, each of us, as individuals. This metaphor extends far beyond censorship; it applies to every facet of existence. How often do we postpone our dreams, waiting for validation from someone else—or worse, from "the system"? The cage doors are wide open; just go for it! Another profound lesson I have gathered—not only from my travels but also from observing daily life (for one does not need to venture far to witness human nature)—is that despite our superficial differences, the core elements of life unite us. I have realized that the vast majority of people are beautiful souls, brimming with shared warmth and incredible potential. Yet, this perspective on humanity stands in stark contrast to the narratives spun by the media. It forces me to question: why is that? I leave you with this inquiry. Reflect upon it and draw your own conclusions.
