1 The Pearl The Lord's prayer is a dispensational prayer that starts with Israel's approach to God, then brings about Jesus into the Earth as the King. Jesus is the Bread of Heaven, the Word made flesh. The fullness of the Kingdom was demonstrated in power on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came as a mighty rushing wind upon 120 of Jesus' disciples waiting in the upper room. The prayer concludes with His eternal and everlasting Kingdom. To the Jews, Abraham is their Father through Isaac, to the Islam, Abraham is their Father through Ishmael, and to the Christians, Abraham is their Father through faith. The blessings of Abraham are now global because the seed- faith of Abraham does not just stop with the nation of Israel but to bring about the King globally to all mankind, whoever calls on the Name of the Lord Jesus by faith. The disciples asked Jesus, teach us to pray. The common people knew their rituals and the laws, but they did not know how to pray. They took their animals to the high priest who performed the sacrifice on their behalf and prayed for them. When they asked Jesus to teach them to pray, they may never have prayed before. So, Jesus takes them back to their roots, to their Father
2 Abraham, who they identified. They know who he is talking about. God said to Abraham, by your seed, the whole world will be blessed. This prayer is a faith seed that Abraham fathered, which was buried in mankind through all the history. This prayer is a cryptic clue to all divine revelations and truths. The Lord's prayer is the pearl that has been hidden through ages. The Pearl of great price in the Bible is found in Matthew 13: 44-46. Jesus, in His illustration of the Kingdom of Heaven, likens it to a merchant who is on the lookout for some choice pearls. When he discovers it, he sells everything he owns to buy the Pearl at a price. The Pearl in this scripture is found in the soil, whereas pearls are generally found in Oysters or Clams. The Earth or the soil in the prayer is mankind because Adam was made from the ground. This seed faith has been deposited in all of humanity. This is the most famous prayer among Christian believers across the globe. Christians can all say this prayer in unison because this is our anthem. An oyster makes pearl as a self-protective mechanism when a grain of sand enters the inside of its shell within its membrane and becomes an irritant. The oyster secretes nacre to cover the irritation until a pearl is
3 produced. The seed of faith which is the measure of faith has been planted in us. As we go through pressures and irritations of life, the seed faith can be refined. This refining takes place by hearing the Word of God until we bring out the choice pearl that the master can hold in His hand and say, Well done. The prayer is the seed that Jesus secretly deposited into humanity so that someday that Pearl would be revealed. Our Father The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. At this point, Jesus, who came through the line of Abraham, was addressing the Jews of what they understood best. This prayer is a progressive revelation of the will of God. Israel recognized and spoke of Abraham as their Father on many occasions. They understood that their blessings and the promises of God were distributed to them because of their Father Abraham. So, in the Lord's prayer, Jesus was teaching His disciples to appeal to God by the covenant God made with their Father Abraham. The prayer is asking God to remember Abraham and pour upon them the blessing promised to Abraham's descendants. The Lord God of our Father Abraham, who is
4 in Heaven, bless us accordingly, as you have promised our Father. When God spoke to Israel through His prophets, He addressed them as "I am the God of your father, Abraham." Through the lineage of Abraham, God brought Christ into the Earth. God's promise to Abraham in Genesis 17:4 said, "My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations." Israel had no concept of God being their Father. To the Jews, according to John 8:39, "Abraham is our father." And to the believers in Romans 4:11, Abraham is the Father of all who believe. So, in the context of the prayer being prayed, and with whom Jesus was in conversation, it was Abraham of which he was explicitly speaking. Israel's connection to God was through the covenant that God made with Abraham. They did not have an independent agreement outside of Abraham to approach God. Their invitation to God was the covenant made by God and Abraham. According to Jeremiah 30:21, "I will invite him to approach me, … for who would dare to come unless invited?" Abraham is called the Father of faith. The scripture says that the Lord counted him righteous because Abraham believed in God’s word (Genesis 15:5-6). His
5 seed is faith. By one-man Adam, sin entered the world, so by one-man Abraham, faith is delivered to mankind. When Jesus said God is His Father, Israel wanted to stone Him, saying, you make yourself out to be God. In the Lord's prayer, Jesus is not saying, My Father, but He is saying Our Father. When Jesus is saying our Father, He is declaring that He is a descendant of Abraham as well. He is putting Himself in this prayer, knowing that He is the promise through whom God is going to deliver and bring about salvation and His Kingdom. This prayer is not the veneration or worship of Abraham. The seed of faith that came through Abraham gives us the ability to believe, accept, and receive what God has for us, and that is His Son, Jesus. Which Art in Heaven "Which art in heaven," shows Abraham's position in God. Here Jesus was teaching Israel to pray, God of our father Abraham who is in heaven, knowing that Israel did not mention 'God' out of awe and reverential fear. They spoke of Heaven as an analogy to God. God is not limited to Heaven because Heaven resides in God. In Isaiah 66:1, God said, "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool." Solomon, when he dedicated the temple in 1 Kings 2:27,
6 prayed, "Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee." So, heaven is used in reference to God. Our Father Abraham, who is in God, meaning, our relationship to Abraham, who is in you, is our right to the blessings. So, in the Lord's prayer, Jesus is pointing to the Jews, their ancestry rights to approach God because of Abraham their Father. Hallowed be Thy Name Here Jesus is pointing to the reverential awe of God, "Hallowed be your Name." God is holy, majestic, and perfect. It was understood that blessings, knowledge, and power are poured out for those of Abraham's lineage. Jesus reiterates that God is Holy and worthy of all worship and reverence. The provisions that exist in the Name of Jesus are numerous. His Name is revered above every Name. His Name is Jesus, our Lord, before whom every knee shall bow, and every tongue pledge allegiance that He is the Truth. According to Isaiah 9:6, His Name is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. God appeared to Abraham in Genesis 17:1 and said, "I am El-Shaddai - The Lord God Almighty." At that moment, Abraham fell face down on the ground in
7 worship. God was known by His Names that He gave Israel. The different names of God are alive, active, and hold eternity within them. Some of the names of God expressed to Israel, were Jehovah-Jireh (The Lord will provide, Genesis 22:14), Jehovah-Nissi (The Lord is my banner, Exodus 17:15) and Jehovah-Rapha (The Lord who heals, Exodus 15:26). All the different Names of God expressed the character and desire of God for Israel, for their healing, prosperity, and salvation. Jesus was saying, these are the hallowed names of God of which you know and which you are to call upon through the covenant that God made with our Father Abraham. With this recognition, God would respond in such manner as to pour out His divine provisions for us because His Name is our safe harbor. When God blesses the children of Abraham, he does so because of the everlasting covenant he made with Abraham. Thy Kingdom Come "Thy Kingdom come” is the arrival of the fullness of the Godhead - the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. The word 'come' is our pleading that the Kingdom of God come and be revealed now in us. That which Jesus referred to, was teaching His disciples to pray that God's
8 fullness would come into the Earth as it is in Heaven. This meant the arrival of Himself as the King, and later on, the fullness of the Holy Spirit which would be poured out on all of them. This was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost in the upper room, when Christ Jesus the fulfillment of Godhead came into Earth. Christ the Kingdom will reign in Earth as He rules in Heaven. "For it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32). The manifestation of Christ takes place here. Thy Will be Done God’s will for us is the fullness of His kingdom in our lives. The will of God cannot be separated from the Word of God. When Jesus is teaching the disciples to pray that the will of God be done, He is expressing that the revelation of the will of God is found in the Word of God. Jesus said He came to complete the will of God and to fulfill it. He is the revealing of that Word, which in turn reveals God's Will to man. When the crowd asked Jesus, we want to perform God's work, what must we do? Jesus said, "This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent " (John 6:29). Jesus is the Word of God. In order to do God's will, we must believe in God's Word. Jesus said when you have
9 seen me, you have seen the Father. Here Jesus was relating to them that He was the full expression of God's will and His Word. Jesus is God's will in healing, in deliverance, and provision. God's will for us is that we live in His righteousness, peace, joy, health, and fulfilled lives. As Jesus healed the people that called on Him, worked miracles amongst them, and fed them, He was saying, the Father's will be expressed through me, the Word of God. Isaiah's prophecy in chapter 55 verse 9, the Lord says, "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." Jesus introduces the absolute power, presence, and the intent of God's plan on mankind. Let His will, His purpose, and His Kingdom be fulfilled in our lives. In Earth, As It Is in Heaven The original will of God was to be done through Adam. God had given him dominion, authority, and intellect in order to carry out His will. But the plan changed, so now the will of God was to be done through His Son. "Earth" in the Lord's prayer is referring to the Earth that abides in us, meaning the human soul. The will
10 of God for us as in Jeremiah 29: 11, is to give us a future and a hope. In the prayer, when Jesus said “in earth”, He meant our body because,1 Corinthians 6:19 reads, "Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God." God’s will for us is to have a kingdom living in earth (our soul). God's will and His purpose be completed in us as it is in Heaven or as it is in Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord made Himself like us in order for us to have access to be like Him. So, the Earth that He is speaking of is us. God's will inside us. Let the will of God be completed and done in us as it was done in Jesus Himself. Let the Holy Spirit set up His dominion in the Earth (the soul of man) as it is in Heaven (the Spirit of God.) Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread Give us your Word (the living bread) daily, not the bread that was given to the children of Israel during their desert migration. Through Moses, God fed manna to the children of Israel for 40 years. That manna could only be used on the day it was given. The manna (falling each day from Heaven) rotted the next day. In the prayer, the Lord is saying that He is the real bread who came down from Heaven, which is superior to the bread that Moses gave to
11 the people. Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." This bread is to be eaten as He spoke in His Word. "My body is broken for you; take and eat of it." Daily eating of His Word and teachings has to become a part of us. The bread of Heaven is Jesus (containing all provision for our lives) in this realm and the realms beyond. Jesus said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven" (John 6:51). Jesus the Word is our bread for nourishment and growth in the Spirit. Give us the living, everlasting, and uncontaminated bread that will sustain us. The sustenance, the provisions that come from the 'bread' being broken for mankind, are eternal and can never reach an expiration date. And Forgive Us Our Trespasses The original sin in the garden was trespassing. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, they trespassed against God. When someone posts a 'No Trespassing' sign on their property, they are stating that the property belongs to them and does not allow any access of that property to an unauthorized person. Those lacking authorization are not allowed to enter a property and take anything from that
12 property. Adam and Eve took the fruit of the tree that had been marked 'No Trespassing.' In effect, they 'stole' from the owner of the tree. It was a theft. They took what was not meant to be theirs. God had his eternal reasons for marking the tree as 'forbidden.' But those reasons were not acceptable or believable to Adam and Eve. They were easily convinced that such a good and loving God could not withhold any good thing from them. They, in that instance, became terribly presumptuous and credited themselves as having an 'understanding' that exceeded the original instructions. That theft changed everything. The perfect world became encrusted and entwined with deception and rot. The incorruptible and eternal creation of God suddenly became toxic and death-ward. A definite "expiration date" became stamped on every living thing. In the prayer, 'Forgive us our trespasses,' means trespassing into God's presence and God's Word without His permission. Actually, trespassing precedes sin because God's Word in Ephesians 2:1 reads, "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins." Both will bring about death. We hear more about sin but less about trespassing. Trespassing is an offense because it is crossing over into another person's property without
13 permission. How many of us cross into other people's lives without the other person's consent? Jesus provides forgiveness of our original sin, which was trespassing against God. The fact that Jesus taught us to pray "forgive us our trespasses" (our thefts of what belongs solely to God) is a critically important plea from man to God. He was acknowledging that man had stolen from God, and the mark of that theft was streaked across the soul of every living person. Romans 5:12 reads, "By one man, sin entered into the world, and death by sin." Even the world of God's creation had the stain of Adam and Eve's theft upon it. Thus, the Scripture tells us that the very Earth groans for the day of redemption (Romans 8:22). As We Forgive Them That Trespass Against Us Jesus said before you bring your offering to the altar of God, you must reconcile with your brother whom you have a grievance against. Though trespassing is a sin against God, it is primarily against humanity. Most of life's disputes and quarrels arriving from family matters come from trespassing through the breeding of familiarity. Jesus said in Luke 17:3-4, Take heed to yourselves: If thy
14 brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he trespasses against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him." We trespass against each other and God's Word without impunity, believing there's no charge or no cost to it. In the Lord's prayer, Jesus wants us to receive forgiveness and seek forgiveness from others for having trespassed and release our life from this charge. And Lead Us Not into Temptation Jesus was led away by the Holy Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil after he was baptized by John the Baptist (Matthew 4:1). Jesus faced temptations and overcame each one. Jesus dealt with temptations, so we do not have to succumb to temptations of the original sin. Jesus was undoing the ruling of temptation over the human soul that had reigned over humanity from Adam up until Jesus. We gain our strength and freedom from our temptations because of the work of Jesus. The scripture in 1Corinthians 10:13 reads, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that
15 ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." Christ suffered for our sins once and for all, according to 1 Peter 3:18. Our soul or our carnality is what leads us into temptation. Jesus delivered us from the power of temptation, so it does not have to rule or control our thought life and govern our physical being. Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent and succumbed to it. Jesus triumphed over the temptations by answering each charge or temptation with the Word of God, which provided us a way of escape and gain entrance into the presence of God. But Deliver Us from Evil Deliver us from evil- the serpent, Satan or the devil who deceived us. We pray to be delivered from presumption, from egomaniacal insistence on our way being the right way, from ignoring a clear mandate and instruction from God, our Father. The children of Israel were delivered from evil. So, God recognizes that evil is on the Earth and takes captive His people. He saw the need to provide a deliverer to rescue us because we could not rescue ourselves. The Lord is our deliverer. But it is a more subtle thing than the actual physical manifestation
16 of the Lord. It is our recognition of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Word manifested as flesh and the reliance on the Holy Spirit, which will bring that Word of deliverance alive. So, when we find ourselves captive to evil, we must turn our attention to the Holy Spirit, who will make alive to us the Word of deliverance. God can speak and make a quick exit in the chains or shackles of bondage and evil that would possess our souls, minds, our bodies, and any other things that relate to us. So, there is a necessity to know that a deliverer has been sent every time evil presents itself to us. We are to recognize the deliverer and call out to Him, and He will answer us. For Thine Is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory The prayer started with Israel, followed by mankind, and finally to the Heavenly Father in recognition that the Kingdom is from God and has His authority. The culmination of God's Kingdom and power reveals His glory. The scripture in Acts 1:8, says, "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you." The power is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on us. God has already expressed His desire earlier in the Lord's prayer, we pray that the Kingdom come. This happened on the day of
17 Pentecost. The Kingdom came in its fullness when the Holy Spirit was poured out on all present in the upper room. There was a manifestation of power - the giftings that took place when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples and the people in the upper room. The men who were previously with Jesus and denied Jesus even at His darkest hour, became men with powers, such as healing the sick, delivering the demonized, and the gifts of divine wisdom. We are to participate in the fullness that was poured out then. When His Kingdom come, His 'Will' is then established. This is supposed to be the request of our hearts, and the expressed purpose of our lives. The Kingdom of God is made up of nations, kindreds, and tongues. God's Kingdom will be manifested in its fullness and power to the glory of God from eternity to eternity. Forever and Ever The phrase Forever and ever refers to the completion of Time. There is no 'forever and ever' in Time. Time comes to an end. God is inserting the eternal into this phrase. The things that are spoken of in this prayer are eternal - eternal life and the eternal Kingdom. God wants us to know that we are to live eternal or everlasting lives and thoughts. His reign and authority do not come to an end.
18 So, the term 'ever and ever' is to remove the time table that indicates something would be finished. God's Kingdom came into this Earth, and like Himself, it will never end. God is 'The Eternal." He abideth forever... "In hope of eternal life which is God, who cannot lie, promised before time began" (Titus 1:2). Jesus is not speaking about the breath of life, the brief mortal existence upon this planet. He is speaking about eternal life, which is of God and in God. Amen The word 'Amen' is 'So Be It.' It is the authoritative affirmation of God to us. It is the fullness and the completeness of the will of God. In another scripture, it says 'Yes and Amen,' meaning God has firmly supported it and is in sponsorship of it. So 'The Lord's Prayer' has God's complete affirmation and support. We have no question or doubt anywhere within us that this prayer is what God wants done. The scripture in 2 Corinthians 1:20 says, "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
19 Summary Jesus understood that the Jews took pride in the fact that Abraham was their Father. The Lord's Prayer shows us the significance of Abraham and his relevance. It is the recognition of God, showing us that God honors Abraham because of his obedience. Jesus is initially speaking to the Jewish people. His identification with them is that he is part of them because he came from the lineage of Abraham like the Jews. He recognizes the position of Abraham that he is in God. The prayer starts with Jesus acknowledging Abraham's prominence and recognizing him. According to the New Messianic Version Bible, ' Avraham' means Exalted Father. When God spoke to the people of Israel, He identified Himself as "I am the God of your father, Abraham." God said to Abraham in Genesis 17:5, "I have made thee a father of many nations." To the Jewish world, Abraham is their Father through Isaac. To the Islamic world, Abraham is their Father through Ishmael, and to the Christians, Abraham is their Father through faith. The promises of Abraham are preserved for us because of the stamp of the Holy Spirit that sealed those promises. The Jews said to Jesus, " Abraham is our
20 father." But Jesus said, "if you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham." God wants His people to be able to access everything that He has to give. This is the order that has been laid out for us. The blessings and promises to mankind were a result of the covenant with our Father Abraham. God has made this covenant, and this covenant has now become a seed of faith deposited in a nation in order to produce a person from the line of Abraham to a Kingdom to which Jesus is the King. The seed of faith came to humanity through Abraham because Abraham is known as "the father of faith." Our access to God is through faith, because the scripture says, "Without faith, it is impossible to please God." God instituted faith in man, and Abraham fathered it to his seed. So those of faith are his offspring. In the prayer, Jesus is saying that we cannot come to God without faith. The scripture reiterates in Romans 10:17, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." Jesus is the Word that became flesh. The more we hear the Word of God, the measure of faith that has been deposited in us, which has been dormant, comes alive by the Holy Spirit. The purpose of faith is to grant us the ability to believe and accept Jesus (the King of the Kingdom), the
21 one who was sent to redeem mankind. We are not to have faith in Abraham, but to have the faith of Abraham. Sin entered the world through one-man Adam; similarly, faith entered humanity through one-man Abraham. So, everyone is given a measure of faith. In the condensed form of The Lord's prayer, Jesus just unveiled the whole history of mankind, their separation from God, caused by Adamic sin, and the plan by which they can be reunited with God. He lays out the order in which He wants us to come into the fullness of God. In "Thy Kingdom come" - The prayer is the declaration that the Kingdom has arrived, and our eyes will be enlightened. Jesus is the King of the Kingdom, and by acknowledging His Kingship, we become residents of His Kingdom, allowing His will to rule and reign our lives. The Lord's prayer is the stated will of God for us. It is what He wants for us. This is His will being examined, explored, opened- up, and laid out. This prayer is the culmination of our interaction with God back to Adam. It shows the bloodline of Abraham, from which the anointed one will be revealed. Christ is from the very bloodline of Abraham. The bloodline anticipates the arrival of the anointed one. It also shows the refusal of the human soul
22 to accept God's provision through Christ, the anointed one. For this purpose, Christ has to take that first temptation and separate it from mankind, so that He could come again this time in His fullness. This is the encryption message of the fullness of the Kingdom. This is a universal document for all mankind. The soul path of animal sacrifice and ritual is not what Jesus wants of us. He wants us to follow the right path of faith, which was of Father Abraham. We approach God's presence, confidently by faith. The scripture points out in Ephesians 5:14, "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light." This Truth of the revelation can come alive in us by the Holy Spirit. Conclusion The prayer is a progression of events that were to take place. This prayer is a revelation of God's desire to bring about the fullness of His Kingdom. The prayer is in stages. Jesus was speaking to His disciples, who were all Jews. Jesus was not speaking to the believers in the first part of the prayer. He was laying out God's divine plan. Jesus was showing the revelation of how God would work through this prayer. Israel knew and acknowledged that Abraham was their Father. They said this on more than
23 one occasion. When Jesus is saying our Father, He is declaring that He is a descendant of Abraham as well. He is putting Himself in this prayer, knowing that He is the promise through whom God is going to deliver and bring about salvation and His Kingdom. Hallowed be that Name or all the names of God, which represent all the attributes of God in the covenant with Abraham. “Thy Kingdom come.” Here Jesus is saying: I am the Kingdom, pray that the Kingdom of God come. Jesus is the King of the Kingdom. Thy will be done is the will of God expressed. In Earth (man) as it is in Heaven (God). Give us this day our daily bread. Feed us from your Word daily because Jesus is the bread of life. The Word of God was made manifest and dwelt among us. At this stage, He is showing His entrance into the world, as the King. Forgive us our trespasses, meaning Jesus was sent to forgive our sins, so we can forgive others who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, because He was tempted on our behalf. He will provide for us a way of escape from temptation. Deliver us from evil, meaning deliver us from the motive of darkness, the evil one, or the evil environment. For yours is the Kingdom - Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, the fullness of God. The Power - This is the
24 Holy Spirit being poured out on the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts. The glory - Ye shall receive power when the Holy Spirit shall come upon you. The glory is what God is due when the Word and the Spirit join together, and His glory is then revealed. Forever and ever - This is the entrance of eternity absent of Time. This is the proclamation of stages of which God would bring about His will and purpose. The Lord’s prayer is the pearl of great price that Jesus talked about in His parables. Discovering the Pearl of Great Price Who were the ones who perhaps looked for the Pearl of great price? Was it the priest? God knows that if a priest would find it, he would worship the pearl and put it up in a place that people would never have access to. The priest signifying the old testament temple. Would it have been the sons? As in the Lord’s prayer, there are two kinds of sons - the sons of Abraham who were Israel in general, and the sons of Abraham through faith. As the people of Israel journeyed through the desert, they never came across the pearl. Perhaps if sons would have found the pearl, like the prodigal son, they would have squandered, wasted away and spent the pearl never having understood the pearl’s true purpose. Or, were they
25 servants who were in the field all day? Surely, they would be the ones who found the pearl. Jesus tells the parable of the great feast in Matthew 22:9-10. In the parable the king sends his servants to gather guests for the wedding feast. The servants could not distinguish good from evil. They would have no understanding of the value of the pearl and would not have recognized when they saw one. That’s why God would not have let servants find the pearl. So, who is this person God allowed to find the pearl? He allowed the merchant to find the pearl because only a merchant would understand its value and he/she would understand how to get the most out of its value. The merchant would take it across the seas, over the mountains and all the lands of the earth. The merchant alone would understand the nature and worth of a priced pearl and look for it. He is the one who sold everything he had in order to purchase the land where the pearl was found. He is the one God chose to discover the pearl of great price. I immediately jotted it down in a notebook and discussed the revelation in my Bible study group. After that, on December 1, 2019, in the afternoon hours, I was sitting on the couch and meditating. The presence of God was on me, and I was deep in the Spirit for three hours. About the same Time, Tabitha was working on this document on the Lord's prayer. As she typed, the Lord would not allow her to move from her seat until she wrote what you are reading. This is the Lord's approval to the truths of the "The Lord's Prayer," that reveals what has never been laid out before. The Lord's prayer is a summarization of the fullness of God's plan from our beginning to His Kingdom. I duly swear in the presence of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, that the Lord himself testifies to the Truth of this revelation. Amen. 29 Discovering the Pearl of Great Price The disciples asked Jesus, teach us to pray. The common people knew their rituals and the laws, but they did not know how to pray. They took their animals to the high priest who performed the sacrifice on their behalf and prayed for them. When they asked Jesus to teach them to pray, they may never have prayed before. So, Jesus takes them back to their roots, to their Father Abraham, who they identified. They know who he is talking about. Abraham is the Father of faith. God said to Abraham, by your seed, the whole world will be blessed. This prayer is a faith seed that Abraham fathered, which was buried in mankind through all the history. This prayer is a cryptic clue to all divine revelations and truths. The Lord's prayer is the pearl that has been hidden through the ages.
