Every batch of adhesives for the cigarette industry is subject to microbial tests in our inhouse labs to root out any contamination.
76 ADHESIVE APPLICATIONS FOR CIGARETTE CONSTRUCTION Various cold and hot melt adhesives are used to form filter rods as well as to seal, roll papers that create individual cigarette sticks; these applications can be small and need precise applications in limited target areas. High-speed application of adhesives is also necessary for creating and sealing packs, cartons, and cases for cigarettes, as well as for affixing necessary tax stamps. Fevicol range of cigarette adhesives are based on various technologies like Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (VAE), Acrylic copolymers, Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) & Polyolefins hotmelts which are used as back bone of every formulation. Adhesive has major role in the construction of cigarette filter, Pidilite has wide range of Cold Glue and Hot melt Glue to satisfy application and machine requirement.
