Palm Court Timeless elegance and sophisticated glamour truly define the ambiance and aesthetic at our iconic hotel, especially when it comes to Weddings. Palm Court is a lavish space for ceremonies, drinks parties, and receptions. Featuring grade II listed marble flooring, French-style doors and windows, a balcony, glass ceiling, a grand piano, and ornate light fixtures, which set the tone for refinement and romance. It’s one of London’s most historic event spaces, and the heart and soul of The Waldorf’s rich history of hosting events. Palm Court retains its original magic and awe when guests enter the room – as it did when we hosted our first Tango Tea Dances over 100 years ago.

Palm Court Protected by The English Heritage and lovingly restored by Hilton to its 1908 Edwardian glory, the luxurious Palm Court was featured in the 1953 film ‘A Night To Remember’ and the hit 2019 movie Rocketman. The historical clock, original lanterns and sconces add a touch of timeless character to every event. It also boasts a private lobby, cloakroom and direct street access. We’re licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 300 guests, allowing you to spend your entire wedding celebration with us from start to finish. From fabulous banquets in our historic Palm Court, to celebrating your love story in our beautifully restored Adelphi Suite, the choice is yours.

Adelphi Suite Our Adelphi Suite is characterised by a timeless black and white colour scheme, modern chandeliers, tall marble columns, and plush carpeting. With a ground-level staging area for entertainment and a dance floor for your after-party. Uplighting can be entirely customised to match your theme and taste, the space also features state of the art audio visual systems. The space has a versatile layout with the option to separate the room into three separate suites, which can be used for dinners, dancing or a dedicated catering space. The Adelphi Suite as a whole can host up to 320 guests for a dinner dance, 340 guests in a banquet style set-up or a glittering reception for up to 500 guests.

External Catering For couples looking to hire the services with an outside caterer or a specific cuisine for their special day, The Waldorf Hilton is happy to recommend the dry-hire package below: Room hire of the Palm Court from 12pm (noon) and Adelphi Suite from 7am until late. Primary setup: chairs, tables, 6 stage blocks and dance floor. Designated cloakroom (manned by your caterer) for wedding gifts, coats/jackets and bags. Complimentary one-night stay in an executive bedroom for the wedded couple including a full English breakfast. A floor manager on the day of the wedding to liaise and coordinate with your outside caterer and other vendors/suppliers. For your close friends and family members, we can provide rates and guaranteed availability, requiring a rooming list three weeks before check-in. Additional Information Security Please note that this price varies depending on the date and that additional charges will apply for the security which is mandatory for the event. In order for us to comply with our Public Entertainment License, we do also require security personnel to be present for every 100 guests at a rate of £350.00 per guard. Additional Information Venue Access Times Access to the Palm Court starts from 12:00pm and the Adelphi Suite from 7:00am. If early access is required, this is subject to availability and charges will apply. Both suites can be used up until 00:00am (Sunday to Thursday night events) or 01:00am (for Friday or Saturday night events). Music We have a license for background or soft live music in the Palm Court until 10.30pm and DJ’s and bands in the Adelphi Suite.
