CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 1-SERVE-LEADER DATE: JUNE 21, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: If I were to define NSTP or National Service Training Program in my own terms, it would be the learning and maturing of the youth's own sense of responsibility for committing to the Nation. It makes us conscious of our responsibilities as an individual of being part of a community and that service is not only for ourselves but for others as well, and helps us become involved in meaningful service for our community and country. It gives us opportunities that will help us grow, such as strengthening our discipline and leadership. For me, the importance of NSTP is to remind us of the basic fact that being a student does not just go on about school and achieve personal success, but it also involves contributing to society, to be a good trustworthy citizen with sense of purpose. It shapes our understanding that fulfilling our duty is essential, not only for ourselves but also for the community. The background and laws related to NSTP influence my understanding of civic responsibility by showing that being a responsible citizen means actively participating in programs that strengthen society, whether through education or community service and that every student has a role in shaping a peaceful, united, and strong community.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: G1-SERVE-LEADER DATE: JULY 2, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: During the NSTP session on knowing oneself and one's role as a Filipino, I was able to learn that it is very important to know oneself and one's role as a Filipino in our daily living. Knowing our strengths, weaknesses and values enables us to make good choices and be more responsible. I understood that what it meant to be a good citizen was to respect, be kind, and be responsible towards others, not just follow the rules. We should be responsible in protecting our culture, give contribution to the community and promote the development of our country, as Filipinos. My learning point is that it was simple yet meaningful, as we are reminded that real change starts with us. Knowing that we are Filipinos and being good citizens, we can inspire others and contribute to the development of a better Philippines. I came to understand that citizenship is not just a label, but a duty. Every Filipino has something to contribute in preserving our culture, uniting our people, and supporting the growth of our country. I learned that knowing myself helps me make choices that are right for me. It also guides me not to do things that might hurt other people or the community. I realized I should always be careful because my actions, even small ones, can affect the country. As a Filipino, showing respect and discipline in simple ways can already make a big difference.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: G1-SERVE-LEADER DATE: JULY 4, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: There are a variety of simple ways youth can be involved in promoting community development. We can begin with reading programs with children and encourage reading practice and we can also set up clean up drives to make the surroundings neat. Youth can also learn to play a role in the community by helping to arrange health talks on cleanliness or eating healthy food. We could organize sports or fitness activities that will include individuals and strengthen groupwork. It is clear from these activities that when youth work together we can make a significant difference by working on a common plan. This is demonstrated through collaborative effort and leadership by having individual members share tasks, listen to the other members, and work together. These character traits encourage others to get involved and maintain the values of the community.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: G1-SERVE-LEADER DATE: JULY 11, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: I learned from NSTP that the aim of it is to develop the students' responsibility as citizens through community service and teamwork. It made me realize that projects like clean‑up drives or participating in other small community work can be used to fulfill requirements, but they can also bring benefits to others. I saw good citizenship when classmates gave their time to help the community without asking for anything in return. On the other hand, I also noticed poor citizenship when some people did not do their part or ignored their responsibilities. This showed me that being a good citizen means being willing to serve others and think about the common good, while poor citizenship happens when people choose not to care or take action. With this experience I learned that even with small gestures you can make a big impact in creating a stronger community. Simple actions like helping, volunteering, or showing care can inspire others and create unity. Because of this, my understanding of being a Filipino citizen has grown. In addition, NSTP taught me that leadership is not about power but about service and responsibility. A true leader is someone who acts, serves, and takes responsibility for the good of others.

Health and nutrition programs will help families stay strong and prevent sickness, while education projects such as scholarships and better school facilities will give children more chances to learn and succeed. Clean water and steady electricity will make daily living easier, and peace and order programs will keep the community safe and united. At the same time, disaster preparedness will ensure that we are ready to respond quickly to typhoons, floods, or other emergencies. The plan also looks at long-term growth through waste management, agriculture, and infrastructure. Proper waste disposal and recycling will keep our surroundings clean and healthy. Support for farmers will strengthen food supply and provide better income, while new roads and bridges will connect people to schools, hospitals, and markets. Altogether, this plan is about building a stronger, safer, and more sustainable barangay where everyone can share in progress.

Listening to music, taking short breaks, and talking with friends help me feel lighter. I also remind myself to focus on one task at a time instead of thinking about everything all at once. Simple routines like drinking water, stretching, or even writing down my tasks make me feel more in control. When stress builds up, I handle it by slowing down and breathing deeply. I avoid pushing myself too hard and give myself permission to rest when needed. I try to think positively, telling myself that challenges are part of learning and that I can get through them step by step. Balancing study with rest, and keeping a clear mind, helps me manage stress better and stay steady even when school feels overwhelming.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: G1-SERVE-LEADER DATE: AUGUST 15, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: The issue that touched me most is seeing children on the streets without proper care and education. It hurts to see them struggle every day, and it shows that our community still has problems that need attention. This made me realize that we should not ignore them, because their situation reflects the lack of support and kindness around us. Even small actions can bring hope and make a difference in their lives. To help address this issue, I can start by joining outreach programs that give food, clothes, or school supplies to street children. I can also share awareness with my classmates and friends so more people will care and take part in helping. Most of all, I can show respect and kindness to them, treating them as part of the community instead of outsiders. By doing these simple steps, I can help create a more caring and supportive environment for them.

The project focuses on giving them a safe place to learn, play, and grow. It includes lessons in reading, writing, math, and hygiene, along with fun activities like storytelling, arts, and sports. The goal is to teach children the value of education, good health, and teamwork while connecting them to community support services. Through this 15-Saturday program, we aim to build their confidence and encourage them to stay in school. By the end of the project, children are expected to gain better access to education, improve their hygiene habits, and develop positive social skills. It also helps strengthen cooperation between NSTP students, community leaders, and child-support agencies to create a more caring and supportive environment for every child.

We decided to focus on students forgetting to turn off electricity when leaving the room. We picked this because it’s a common and easy problem that students can help fix. From this activity, I learned that small habits can help save electricity. We looked at the causes and effects of the problem and suggested simple solutions, like reminding students to switch off lights, fans, and other devices before leaving. This task taught me that solving problems can begin with small actions and being responsible.

I am thankful that my family and I are safe and that we are not greatly affected by the flood. However, I am still worried about the way from Bulacan to Angeles because there are some areas with floods. I am worried that the road may be difficult to pass and that traveling may not be safe. I also worry about the people who are affected by the flood and hope that they are safe. This situation made me realize that we should always be careful, especially when there is heavy rain and flooding. We should check the road and weather before traveling and avoid places that are flooded. Even though there is no flood in our area, I still need to be aware of what is happening in other places. They told me that they discussed SWOT analysis, which stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and learned how it can be used in making an action plan by turning problems into possible solutions. My classmate also told me that they had a different facilitator during the session. Even though I was not able to experience the discussion personally, I learned that the facilitator guided them through the activities and helped them understand the topic. It made me realize that every facilitator may have a different way of teaching and guiding the class.
