Invitation to Link Arms with Us

I hope you can see from our review of the past year that ministry at the Bradley Study Center is flourishing and growing. As I write, two new graduate students have joined our summer graduate students program and up to three more may be joining the group next week. Three new faculty/staff will be attending a conference this August learning how to integrate their faith into their work on the campus, which is a 50% increase compared to last year’s first group. Our fall programming is in full swing with our two short courses coming together, a new instructor is ready to lead the Fellows program on Systematic Theology and lecturers are being assigned for our “Thinking Thursdays” programming. I will begin a monthly Executive Director’s Lunch that will be a time of Bible Study, fellowship and growth. Stay tuned for the biblical book we’ll study! Many, many other plans are in motion to prepare for a robust, growing ministry. Former and current students are writing to me this summer indicating they miss BSC and are looking forward to the school year starting up so they can reconnect with our community and participate in the programs. We miss them, too! Due to this growth we have needed to add staff, increase our proposed budget expenditures and pursue the purchase of more physical space. Later this year I will update you on the status of our building project, which we are currently negotiating with the owner and current renter. As we continue to ramp up for an active fall season, would you prayerfully consider investing in the ministry that is already bearing fruit on this side of heaven, but will continue to produce eternal value beyond our lifetimes?

You can see our budget proposal needs to increase to meet this wonderful, if not unexpected, ministry growth. We can only praise God for that! We are so grateful for those who are already giving and have been so faithful! To meet the expected and likely unexpected ministry needs, we are praying that God would provide an additional $50K in new funds between now and September 8, 2026. New funds could come from several sources such as first-time monthly investors, increased monthly investments by those who are already giving regularly, one-time gifts, RMD distributions for those in that age bracket, etc. By God’s grace, momentum is on our side right now. Would you prayerfully consider taking part in this season of acceleration at BSC? If you have any questions about investing in, or the ministry at BSC, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. If you have not been to BSC in some time, I would love to show you around and offer you a tour of the 106 Faculty St. property, which we hope to purchase and use for ministry in the near future. Above all, please be in prayer that God would continue to do His life- changing work at BSC where we are so well-positioned to integrate learning and the Christian faith for God’s glory alone. For our Board and Staff, Rescued by Christ, Tim Johnson
