This is the 2026 portfolio of Ahmad Abu Abed, an architect and architectural engineering graduate from the University of Jordan. The portfolio is intended for potential employers, clients, or collaborators interested in architectural visualization, conceptual design, and parametric modeling.
The first project presented is a border crossing terminal located in the Jordan Valley, described as still in progress. The design aims to transform the border from a space of friction into an ordered architectural threshold, integrating linear circulation, environmental shading, and intuitive functional zoning.
The border crossing project includes a site plan, ground floor plan, elevations, and sections. The design strategy uses a linear spatial spine, volumetric hierarchy for public, semi-controlled, and restricted zones, and an organic roofscape with cantilevered overhangs for climate protection.
The second project is the Kayan Boutique Hotel, described as a reimagining of Qasr Al-Abd into modern luxury. The third project is the Crystal Garage.
