If you could choose your dreams, what would you prefer to dream about? I want to dream of snapshots of different memories of my favorite trips with family and friends, or a different ballet or recital I have performed in my ballet years. What tells you the most about a person? As coming from a background in Nutrition and Public Health, things like nails and eyes can be indicators of underlying health issues and deficiencies. However, the way people show up not only in the good times, but also in the times of need. Not big, large displays, but by their kindness in small and consistent ways can be more powerful and meaningful to me. When no one is watching, and when there is nothing to gain, as well as how they handle challenges, stress, and pressure. This photo was taken during a family trip to New York City in the middle of May. We walked all the way across the Brooklyn Bridge, and the views were stunning. It was a memorable experience, and I loved sharing the incredible architecture and scenery with my family. This was my first 10K race, which I completed in Miami. It was especially meaningful because it was a goal I had trained hard for, and crossing the finish line was incredibly rewarding. "Quarter 4 Newsletter 7

Throughout 2026, OUC has focused on building awareness and understanding of Strategy 2035 across the organization. Earlier this year, more than 1000 employees participated in the strategy rollout workshops at the Pines, where they learned about our Strategy, strategic priorities, and the important role every employee plays in achieving our long‑term vision. As the rollout continued, managers and above participated in Strategy 2035 alignment sessions in June to prepare for the next phase of implementation. These sessions were designed to equip leaders with resources to communicate Strategy 2035 to their teams, help employees better understand how their work supports OUC’s future, and encourage conversations about what Strategy 2035 means within each business unit. One of the strategic priorities is Workforce Excellence, which focuses on building a high‑performing workforce by attracting, developing, and retaining talent while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and well‑being. For employees, this means greater opportunities to build rewarding careers, grow their skills, receive meaningful recognition and feedback, and work in an environment where they feel supported and empowered to succeed. The Employee Experience team will play a key role in advancing Workforce Excellence by developing workforce planning strategies, career growth frameworks, employee development programs, engagement and recognition initiatives, and retention strategies that support employees throughout their careers at OUC. Leveraging technology, data, and analytics, the team will provide actionable insights that strengthen decision‑making, enhance the employee experience, and help build a high‑performing workforce prepared for the future. That momentum carried into the “Making the Connection” event, where interns engaged more personally with mentors, peers, and leaders. It was a meaningful reminder that growth happens not only through tasks and projects, but through the people who guide and support us along the way. It became a standout moment for those looking to strengthen their voice and presence, and a testament to how supportive leadership can make skill‑building both fun and meaningful. The quarter also brought a heartfelt celebration of one of our own. The team gathered in the Employee Experience kitchen to honor Jennyly Charriez’s one‑year anniversary, a milestone that carried special meaning for everyone who has worked alongside her. Jennyly has touched every corner of the team with her energy, dedication, and ability to elevate any project she’s part of. Hurricane season is underway, and even with early forecasts pointing to a quieter Atlantic year, Florida’s experience shows that a single storm can create major disruption. As part of OUC’s commitment to safety and continuity, employees are encouraged to stay informed through trusted sources like NOAA updates and local emergency alerts. Warmer ocean temperatures continue to influence storm behavior, making early planning essential. Preparing your household is the first step. Build an emergency kit with several days of water, food, medications, flashlights, chargers, and pet supplies, and review your evacuation zone and routes. Families should establish a communication plan and keep printed copies of important documents. Simple home‑hardening steps—securing outdoor items, trimming trees, cleaning gutters, and safely testing generators—can significantly reduce damage. If you live in a multi‑unit building, confirm your property’s emergency procedures and identify safe interior spaces. Workplace readiness ensures OUC can continue serving customers during and after a storm. Make sure your laptop, chargers, hotspot, and VPN access are ready well before a storm approaches, and stay alert for communications from Emergency Management and HR. Employees in critical roles should review expectations with their leaders, while all staff should consider preparing a small “go‑bag” with work essentials in case relocation becomes necessary. After a storm passes, safety comes first. Avoid driving until officials confirm roads are clear, and watch for downed lines, flooding, and debris. Document any home damage promptly for insurance purposes, and remember that OUC’s Employee Assistance Program is available to support mental well‑being. As the community begins recovery, donating supplies or volunteering with local organizations can make a meaningful difference. Preparedness is more than a checklist—it’s a proactive mindset that strengthens our families, our community, and the essential services our customers rely on. By planning early and staying informed, we can navigate the 2026 hurricane season with confidence and resilience. ENGAGEMENT UPDATES Naz Somji leads an engagement‑focused segment during the Q3 All Hands Meeting, sharing updates on initiatives designed to strengthen the OUC employee experience. Recognition emerged as one of the most significant opportunities in the 2025 Employee Engagement Survey, and it now stands as a central priority in the XLT Action Plan. In response, the Commission has launched several initiatives aimed at elevating how employees feel seen, valued, and appreciated across the organization. To understand how these efforts are resonating, we will conduct a short, Commission‑wide Pulse Survey this August—an opportunity to gather quick, meaningful feedback that helps us stay aligned with what employees need most. Unlike the annual engagement survey, a pulse survey is a short, focused check‑in that measures one priority area. It provides timely feedback, helping us understand what’s working, identify opportunities for improvement, and make informed decisions without waiting for the next engagement survey cycle. In addition to the recognition pulse, we will also launch a short pulse survey during the week of July 27th to measure the sentiments of our EE team, allowing us to evaluate whether the action plans from the 2025 Engagement Survey are still relevant, identify emerging trends, and better understand where additional support may be needed. Your feedback helps shape our employee experience and culture at OUC. Together, these surveys enable us to measure progress, refine our approach, and ensure our actions continue to support what matters most to all of you as employees. Stay tuned for more information on both pulse surveys. Strengthening Recognition Through Real‑Time Insight: The August Pulse SurveyEmployee Experience 22
Your Voice Matters: Insights from the Q3 All Hands Meeting Employee Experience hosted our third quarterly All Hands meeting on May 13th, with a central theme of Celebrating Success. Attendees were asked to fill out a post‑event survey in the two weeks following the meeting, and our team would like to share some of key findings from your feedback. This quarter’s survey highlights the continued value of the All Hands meeting for sharing team‑level updates and fostering a stronger sense of departmental community. While every All Hands meeting has received positive ratings this fiscal year, we were extremely proud to see that all survey respondent viewed this quarter’s meeting as both an informative and a connective experience. This positivity also appeared as rave reviews for this quarter’s theme: your comments conveyed a deep appreciation for celebrating coworker’s successes and the camaraderie felt through group activities. Put together, this feedback shows a strong desire to carry a celebratory and communal focus into future meetings. Your continued feedback is integral to shaping future All Hands meetings. granted can become life‑changing resources for others. Beyond the physical work, the experience offered interns a meaningful opportunity to learn about sustainability practices and the broader social impact of corporate volunteerism. Many shared that seeing the full recycling process—from a discarded hotel soap to a newly formed bar ready for distribution— helped them understand how small actions can contribute to large‑scale change. It also gave them a chance to connect with colleagues across departments, strengthening relationships and building a deeper sense of community within the cohort. For the Talent Acquisition team, the event served as a reminder of the power of modeling service‑driven leadership. By volunteering alongside interns, TA demonstrated that community engagement is not just encouraged—it’s lived. The shared experience created space for mentorship, conversation, and reflection, reinforcing the idea that meaningful work happens both inside and outside the office. Our 2026 Emerging Talent Intern cohort rolled up their sleeves this quarter to make a global impact—partnering with the Talent Acquisition team for a hands‑on volunteer shift at Clean the World, a nonprofit dedicated to improving health and hygiene in underserved communities around the world. Clean the World collects used soap and hygiene products from hotels, then recycles, sanitizes, and redistributes them to families who lack access to basic hygiene supplies. These efforts help reduce preventable illnesses, support disaster‑relief initiatives, and keep millions of pounds of waste out of landfills. During their half‑day service event, interns worked side‑by‑side with TA team members to sort used soaps, remove packaging, and prepare materials for processing. Once sorted, the soap is shredded, sanitized, and reformed into brand‑new bars that are shipped globally to communities in need. The work is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and surprisingly eye‑opening—showing how everyday items we take for Emerging Talent Interns and Talent Acquisition team unite to support Clean the World and uplift the Orlando community. Ingredients 6 cups of seedless watermelon cubed 2 fresh limes juiced, plus another cut into slices for garnish 6 sprigs fresh mint 12 ounces unflavored seltzer Instructions Add the diced watermelon and lime juice to a blender. Pulse to break up large chunks, then blend on high until smooth. Place a fine mesh strainer over a bowl. Strain the watermelon lime juice through it, using a wooden spoon to mix and scrape the bottom of the strainer occasionally, to help it strain faster. Note: This step helps make the drink smooth and ensures there isn't any gritty texture, but you can definitely skip it if you'd like. Add 6‑8 mint leaves to a small pitcher and muddle it gently without over‑mashing, about 3‑4 times. Pour the watermelon drink into the pitcher and refrigerate until you're ready to serve. Fill 12‑ounce drinking glasses half full of ice. Pour the mocktail over the ice until the glasses are each about 2/3rds full. Top off each glass with seltzer. Garnish each watermelon drink with a lime slice, sprig of fresh mint, and straw. WATERMELON MOCKTAIL Employee Experience 26
