NOTES FROM THE CEO CSG FOODS | QUARTERLY COMMUNIQUÉ A message from our CEO · Gary Davis Q3 2026 — Celebrating Growth, People & Innovation Dear Team, As we move into the third quarter of the year, it is important to reflect on the landscape in which we operate. We are currently navigating a demanding economic climate that continues to test our industry. However, I am a firm believer that these challenges are best met by standing together. To conquer the hurdles ahead, we must be innovative and creative in our approach, but we must never lose sight of our core standards. It is vital to remember that compromising on quality or portion sizes is a recipe for failure. We will uphold our excellence through ingenuity and exceptional client service—never by cutting corners. In the spirit of strengthening our leadership to meet these goals, I am delighted to announce that Roy Minnaar has been appointed as our Head of Operations. Many of you know Roy from his tenure as our Concept and Solutions Manager. He brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to this role— spanning operations, sales, procurement, and HR. His diverse background and deep understanding of our business makes him the ideal leader to drive our operational excellence forward. Despite the external pressures, CSG Foods continues to grow. I am proud to welcome our new partners at IDC, Sulzer Pumps, Casidra and TATA to the family. This expansion is a testament to the hard work you put in every day. To ensure this growth is sustainable, we remain focused on our four strategic objectives: 1 Customer Excellence & Retention 2 Food Safety & Operational Quality 3 Health, Safety & Environment (SHEQ) 4 Financial & Operational Efficiency We have already begun activating these goals through our recently launched sanitation campaign and our monthly activation campaigns. Furthermore, our drive for tighter commercial controls and unwavering food quality remains at the heart of our operations. We must keep striving for perfection in these areas; they are the foundation of our reputation. Finally, we recognize that CSG Foods is only as good as its team. We are committed to looking after our people and growing them—not just in terms of technical skillsets, but on a personal level. To support this, our “Own Your Area” Emotional Intelligence training has officially commenced. We believe in empowering you to lead with confidence and empathy. We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our teams across the Sanitation and GP performance categories. SANITATION CAMPAIGN WINNERS — Our commitment to hygiene remains a top priority, and we would like to congratulate our latest Sanitation Campaign winners for their exemplary standards. Well done to Pen Bev Athlone (June), Ebenhaeser (July), and Northern Academy College (August) for leading the way in maintaining pristine environments. FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE & GP CONSISTENCY — Stability and growth are the cornerstones of our operational success. In the Top 3 Most Consistent GP Units, we recognize the teams at Vista Clinic, Curro Tuckshop , and Steve Biko Coffee Shop for their disciplined management and steady performance from April through July. TOP 5 MOST IMPROVED GP UNITS — Leading the charge with significant percentage-point increases are BMW (+27%), Transpharm (+17%), College Campus N/Academy (+16%), IDC (+12%), and Victoria Hub(+12%). Congratulations to all the Area Managers and Unit teams involved for their hard work and dedication to excellence! What a few months it has been! From National Hamburger Day and Mandela Day to Spring Day, Waffle Day, Women’s Day and Wellness Week, our teams have brought incredible energy, creativity and team spirit. Congratulations to Ebenhaeser, Constanta Flexibles KZN and Eduvos on their winning activations, with Constanta Flexibles also generating additional off-site sales for Vector Logistics. We also celebrated the opening of Sulzer Pumps, exciting Coca-Cola sports activations, and excellent feedback on our Centre of Excellence executive snack boxes for Sulzer Pumps, WEG and PG Bison. Great food, fresh ideas and a strong sales mindset — this is the energy we want to keep building! BETELO - GAMSEBERG | CHANGE HOUSE, LAUNDRY & OFFICE CLEANING Congratulations to the Gamseberg team on opening an on-site laundry. Despite an exceptionally busy period, the team equipped, installed and commissioned a state-of- the-art facility to launder residents’ uniforms—a tremendous achievement.
