President’s MessageDear Fellow Rotarians, Good evening and welcome to our regular club meeting. As we continue our Rotary journey, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member, spouse, family, and friend whose dedication and support contributed to the success of our recent activities. Congratulations to the entire Rotary Club of Marikina for the successful Governor’s Visit and our 62nd Awards Night, Induction and Handover held on July 3, 2026. These memorable milestones reflected our club’s unity, excellence, and commitment to Rotary service. My sincere appreciation also goes to all our members who proudly represented our club during the Vibrant Seminar held on July 11, 2026, in Antipolo City. Your active participation reflects our commitment to learning, leadership, and continuous growth as Rotarians. Likewise, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to PP Ronie Masangkay, the Organizing Chairman, together with all Rotarians, and the District leadership, for the highly successful District Awards Night held on July 19, 2026 at Solaire North, Quezon City. The event was a shining example of teamwork, hospitality, and Rotary excellence, and we are proud that the Rotary Club of Marikina played a significant role in its success. As we celebrate these accomplishments, let us also prepare for another important milestone, the Zone 4 Joint Induction on July 28, 2026. I encourage everyone to continue supporting our club and our Zone as we strengthen the bonds of fellowship and service. Let us carry forward the momentum of these successful events as we pursue our service projects and continue to embody this year’s theme, “Create Lasting Impact.” Together, let us continue transforming lives through service and making a lasting difference in our communities. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing all of you at the next meetings and activities. Yours in Rotary Service, Paul Jordan G. Aguilar President Rotary Year 2026–2027 Paul Jordan G. Aguilar
Secretary’s TimeGood evening my fellow Rotarians, The Rotary Year 2026–2027 has already begun on an inspiring and energetic note, with our first month filled with meaningful activities that strengthened our commitment to Rotary's ideals. We started with the Governor's Visit, an occasion that motivated our club to pursue excellence in service and membership. This was followed by our Club Awards Night, Induction, and Handover Ceremonies, where we celebrated the achievements of the outgoing officers while welcoming a new team of leaders ready to continue our mission. We also took part in the District Induction and Handover, attended the informative Vibrant Roadshow Seminar, and proudly concluded the month with the District Awards Night, recognizing the remarkable accomplishments of clubs and Rotarians across the district. These events have given us renewed enthusiasm and a stronger sense of purpose as we begin another Rotary year. They remind us that Rotary is built on leadership, friendship, and service. We now look forward to another year filled with impactful community projects, meaningful fellowship, inspiring learning opportunities, and collaborative efforts that will make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve while living the Rotary motto, *Service Above Self*. Rotary’s Information Good evening my fellow Rotarians, Welcome everyone to tonight’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Marikina. I hope all of you are doing well and in good spirits. First of all, I would like to apologize for not being able to attend tonight’s meeting as I am currently out of the country spending time with my family. Even though I am away, my heart remains with our club and with all of you. As we celebrate the month of May, Rotary recognizes this as Youth Service Month. This month reminds us of the importance of empowering and guiding the younger generation through leadership, education, mentorship, and community involvement. Through programs such as Interact, Rotaract, RYLA, and other youth-centered activities, we continue to inspire young people to become future leaders and responsible citizens. Let us continue to live by our Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” by dedicating our time and efforts in helping others without expecting anything in return. At the same time, let us also embrace this year’s message to “Unite for Good,” working together with compassion, friendship, and purpose to create meaningful change in our communities. Thank you once again, and I hope to see everyone soon. Have a wonderful and productive meeting ahead. God bless us all and Mabuhay ang Rotary Club of Marikina!
