You get mountains, gorges, a lovely flowing river, fresh air and wild goats. But no mice, rats or snakes! Kalimna is a farm with plenty of space for caravans and camping. Indoor camping is also an option - the machinery shed is a good back up in heavy rain. What's the plan? It's a stunning place for a hike. Jump in the river if you are up for that!. Curry. A massive bonfire. Footy, card games maybe. We‘ll hear from God‘s word as well. We‘ll be flexible.Where is this place? 'Kalimna', Mandurama (50 minutes southwest of Bathurst) When are we going? 2- 4 May 2025WEEKEND AWAY 2025Who's coming? You are, along with loads of other blokes aged 7 up. Lots of warm clothes Beanie Wet weather gear Tent or swag (if you are camping outside) Sleeping bag & camping stretcher/ mat/ inflatable mattress Sunscreen & hat Torch Good hiking shoes Bowl & plate (cutlery is provided) Cup and mug for water, tea and coffee, Towel Tea towel Some baked stuff or dry fruits/chips/ chocolate for sneaky snacks and supper Swimmers if you'd like to check out the river Football, guitar, frisbee, Pack of cards, board games (to get us through the rain if that's how it goes.) Key things are warm clothes and boots. And maybe a tent or caravan or swag. Don‘t be put off if you lack anything - we can sort out what you need.' Where is this place, exactly? Kalimna', 460 Davies Creek Rd, Mandurama. Go to Bathurst, onwards to Blayney, through Mandurama, then all the way along Davis Creek Rd to the end. It's about 4 hours driving time from Canterbury. If you can drive, great - and if you can take extra passengers, fantastic. If you need a lift, that’s OK - we’ll organise carpooling. When you sign up we’ll send out more details.
