\Nature-Based Solutions for Urban Lake Regeneration\ Chandola Lake, Ahmedabad This academic project investigates the spatial, ecological, and urban context of Chandola Lake. Through site analysis, landscape strategies, and design exploration, the project examines the potential of urban water bodies as catalysts for environmental and public realm improvements. Located within a rapidly urbanizing part of Ahmedabad, the lake exists at the intersection of natural systems and urban growth. The study focuses on understanding the relationship between water, landscape, infrastructure, and surrounding communities to identify opportunities for creating a more connected and resilient urban environment. | Academic project 19 |

The proposal repositions the lake edge as a living ecological infrastructure that actively treats polluted urban runoff before it enters Chandola Lake. By restoring natural filtration processes, the intervention addresses water degradation while strengthening the lake's ecological resilience. The strategy transforms the edge from a passive boundary into a productive regenerative landscape. | 22
