Words from Hoshizora Since 2006 to date, Hoshizora Foundation has remained committed to supporting education access and equity for children across Indonesia. There are more than 4,400 Adik Bintang (scholarship recipients) and 170 teachers have accessed better quality education, made possible through the unwavering support of our partners—one of whom is ACG School Jakarta. Hoshizora’s programs are guided by the Education Resilience Framework, which adopts a holistic, ecosystem-based approach. This framework ensures that our support extends beyond financial assistance, encompassing student capacity-building, parental engagement, and teacher empowerment. Our goal is to foster a supportive learning environment where students can thrive, teachers are empowered to deliver quality education, and parents are equipped to accompany their children on their educational journey. Despite our collective efforts, significant educational challenges persist in Indonesia. Many children from underprivileged families still struggle to access quality education. Countless others are forced to drop out of school to work at an early age, while teachers in remote areas experience lack of resources and professional gaps. In the face of these challenges, Hoshizora believes that meaningful collaboration with partners is essential to building a stronger and more inclusive educational future for Indonesia. Mimpi Anak Negeri Scholarship Beasiswa Mimpi Anak Negeri is a scholarship program in Hoshizora Foundation dedicated to Adik Bintang from elementary to high school. In this scholarship program, Adik Bintang receives ongoing assistance until they graduate high school. Khayla is Adik Bintang from Bantul, Special Regi- on of Yogyakarta. She is a sixth-grade student at SD Seyegan who lives with her parents and older sister. At school, Khayla is known as a creative, cheerful, and talented student in the arts. Her passion for dance has grown through various school performances, inspiring her to conti- nuously develop her talent. Her dedication has already brought remarkable achievements, including 1st place in a subdistrict-level dance competition and 4th place at the regency level. Khayla also excels academically. When faced with academic challenges, she remains eager to learn and is never afraid to seek guidance from her teachers, friends, and family.
