AuHome Transient and Boarding House
Hello, Welcome to our AuHome Transient and Boarding House. This is a new structure built to serve and accommodate employees, students and travelers from all walks of life. We, the owners have grown and lived our student lives in a boarding house, so rest assured that your “basic boarder needs” like enough space, toilets are given due consideration. We are also local and international travel enthusiasts and have incorporated our vast experience of staying in transient accommodations. The house is dedicated to people in the autism spectrum. Having lived with a person in the autism spectrum for 19 years, we believe that they too are created for a purpose and reason. Our child, Sigasig is one them. These people are useful and helpful. Thus, this house is a safe space for our child, who will be responsible (in the near future) of cleaning the hallways and making up the rooms for transients. He can be nosy at times asking trivial questions like color of your house, brand of your phone or your birthday, but we want to assure you that he is playful and meant no harm, he is a very gentle giant. You can always tell him to respect your personal space. However, we want also to respect your privacy and have also designed and built mechanism to regulate and limit his access to AuHome beyond his routine schedule. It is our objective that all people will be able to recognize, understand and live amicably with the people in the autism spectrum. Now, that we have laid down the terms and purpose of our AuHome, the option to consider living here or not, is now yours. If you opt to stay with us, kindly read the following rules and regulations. BOARDING HOUSE RULES and REGULATIONS The tenant is required to submit a copy of his/her ID and give a one-month advance and a deposit to the landlord The latter (deposit) can be withdrawn upon exit and subject to deductions of the incurred past dues and other chargeable broken items or structure. A contract will also be prepared and signed upon payment. The electric bill is a separate payment given every 15th of the month. WiFi Internet is available for a fee of 150.00 per month. A duplicate set of keys to include the gate and room, is given to the tenant upon payment. A penalty of |P200 will be charged for lost keys. The tenant should respect and follow the rules and regulations set by the landlord, failure to do so will result to termination of contract. Within the premises Destruction, vandalism, hanging or posting using any kind of tape or glue and nails in the room specifically wall or any part of the building is prohibited. Cleanliness Tenants are required to maintain cleanliness inside their room and practice CLAYGO (clean as you go) in the kitchen, toilet/bath and common areas.
Be responsible with your trash and dispose them properly in the bins provided in the kitchen area. Separate the trash according to the label provided. Garbage is collected 3x a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Water and electricity Be a responsible steward of water, be mindful and turn off the faucet when not in use. Turn off the lights and unplug all appliances when not in use. Appliances should be registered for documentation purposes. The landlord is not responsible for the loss or destruction of appliances brought inside the room. Guests and Sleepovers Guests are welcome. But sleepovers are discouraged inside the rented room of regular tenants. However, since this is a transient facility, regular fees apply for additional sleepover guests, who will be required to sign in to the logbook and to submit a copy of an identification card. Curfew There is no curfew, however the landlord should be informed in the group chat if the boarders come home after 12 midnight for monitoring purposes. Laundry Only hand wash laundry is allowed. The washing machine located at the washroom is not for public use. Pets Pets are not allowed. The following are the basic things provided Bed with foam Small cabinet Ceiling fan/air con A pail and a tabo for each bathroom Drinking water is available for a very minimal fee, but containers should be provided by the boarders. Transportation/Parking There is no parking space available for boarders with transport or vehicle, but they can use the front yard outside the gate on a first come basis. The owners are suki of Light of Glory taxi and if the boarders will avail of its services for pick up, the residence code is 3294 under Penaredondo Residence.
