Once upon a time, in a small garden full of flowers and sunshine, there lived a little girl named Mira. Mira loved to play. But today, she had no one to play with.

Then, near the old garden fence, she saw something small hiding in the ferns. It was a tiny fairy. She looked new. She looked shy. And she looked a little scared to say hello.

Mira walked closer, softly, so she wouldn't scare her away. "Hi," said Mira. "My name is Mira. Do you want to play with me?" The fairy peeked out a little more and smiled the tiniest smile Mira had ever seen.
So they played. They chased dandelion seeds through the golden air, spinning and giggling, until they both fell down laughing in the soft green grass. It felt like they had been friends forever.
The more they played, the more the fairy began to glow softly at first, then brighter and brighter, like a little lantern waking up. Being friends with Mira made her shine.
"You're not scared of me?" the fairy asked quietly. "Why would I be?" said Mira. "You're my friend." And in that moment, something small had turned into something real.
But then, the sky turned grey. Raindrops began to fall, faster and faster. Mira looked up, surprised — and so did the fairy, her glow flickering as the rain grew heavier around them.
Without a second thought, Mira wrapped the little fairy up in her own clothes to keep her warm and dry. "Don't be scared," Mira whispered. "I've got you."
Ather the rain started to subside The fairy looked up at Mira with grateful eyes. "I can't keep you dry forever," she said softly. "But I can do this." And her whole body began to glow with magic.
As the sun began to set, the fairy grew quiet. "I have to go now," she said softly. "My magic only stays in the light , when it gets dark, I have to return to my forest." Mira's smile faded a little. "Will I see you again?" but the fairy just smiled.and slowly, her light began to fade into the darkening sky.
Before she had to leave, the fairy gave Mira one last gift a single seed, kissed with a little bit of magic. "Plant it here," she said. "And every spring, when this flower blooms first that's me, saying hello again."
Mira opened her eyes. She was in her own bed, sunlight streaming softly through her window. Her teddy bear was tucked beside her, just where she always left him. "It was just a dream," she whispered then she looked to the left and sae the same dress and the flower and fairy spooked about . she said: maybe it wasn’t
And that is how a little kindness turned into a little magic forever.
