We are very humble and respectful because it is their first time in the Philippines. Being a filipino citizen doesn't just mean you were born in the philippines or you are related to one but it means you are an honest, compassionate, respectful, responsible and courageous as a filipino. Being a good filipino citizen also means that you are nationalistic to the philippines and very family oriented and showing kindness to others. Gaming is my way of just relaxing even if I lose in the game I can still play it again with no consequences. I personally just keep my stress to myself but sometimes I tell my girlfriend about them just so I can have a person I trust that can be there with me. I try to find things to ignore the stress, like scrolling to tiktok, instagram reels or even talking with my girlfriend about stupid things that keeps us entertained. OFFICE OF THE COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES Institute for Christian Formation and Social Integration Sto. Rosario, Angeles City NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (CWTS) JOURNAL WORKSHEET NO. 1 NAME: CALMA, JOHN LUIS T. CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT OBSERVER DATE: June 27, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING The National Service Training Program (NSTP) helps students become responsible, especially toward their community. It also serves as our foundation to further develop our ability to help and share our knowledge with others. It also serves as a starting point to develop our discipline and leadership skills. I believe it is important because it teaches us that helping others is not only a responsibility but also a way to create positive and meaningful changes. Through its different components, namely CWTS, ROTC, and LTS, students are given the opportunity to choose which program is most suitable for their skills and where they want to further improve themselves. Learning about the background and laws of NSTP made me realize that civic responsibility is very important in improving our society and even ourselves. Simply by actively participating in community development and having the willingness to help others, we can already make a big difference. As a student, I can contribute to society by volunteering in community activities, showing respect, and using my knowledge to help others become aware of why NSTP is important. This program has inspired me to take action and become more active in helping others because even sharing your knowledge can make a great difference. Before this discussion, I only knew that Filipinos are hospitable and family-oriented. Now, I understand that we are also known for being respectful, faithful, generous, and resilient. I also learned that being family-oriented and generous is one of the strongest traits of Filipinos. Many people are willing to help their family even they’re struggling and has nothing. Another thing that I learned is about resilience and optimism. Even if life becomes difficult, Filipinos still try to smile and continue moving forward, we can see this every time there’s a typhoon hits the country. I think this is one of the reasons why we can overcome many challenges. Overall, this lesson made me appreciate our culture more. It reminded me that these Filipino traits should not only be learned in class but also practiced in our everyday lives. As students, we also have the responsibility to share these values with others through our actions, even in simple ways. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6 – HOT SIX – OBSERVER DATE: JULY 7, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING: In our group discussion, I learned that us students or young individuals can help the community in many simple ways. We talked about volunteering and joining different community activities as tool to help in our community. I also appreciate that everyone shared their own ideas and respected each other's opinions, that's why our group came up with different ways on how we can help our community. This activity made me realize that helping the community doesn't always need something big. Even small actions can make a difference if everyone works together especially us students. I also learned that teamwork is really important because it makes things easier and I believe in the saying teamwork makes the dream work. As a student, I can help by joining school or community activities and encouraging my classmates and friends to participate too. Overall, this lesson reminded me that if we all do our part, even in simple ways, we can make our community a better place. CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX-OBSERVER DATE: July 15, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING For me, NSTP is not just another school subject. It teaches us how to become more responsible students and better citizens. Through our class activities and discussions, I realized that helping others and serving the community is also our responsibility. I learned that even small actions can make a big difference if many people work together. One thing that I learned is that being a good citizen is not just about following the law. It is also about respecting other people, being kind, and doing small good things that can help others. Before, I don't really think much about those things. But because of NSTP, I understand now that even simple actions can already make a difference if we do it sincerely. I also learned that leadership is not only for people with high positions. Anyone can become a leader if they are honest, responsible, and willing to help. We don't need to be perfect to lead. We just need to do what is right and become a good example to others. That lesson is one of the things that I will remember. Overall, NSTP changed the way I look at my role as a student and as a Filipino. I realized that I also have responsibilities, not only in school but also in my community. I may not be able to do big things right now, but I know I can start with simple actions. I believe that if more students become responsible and willing to help, our community and even our country can become a better place.

I saw how the barangay officials do their work and how they help the people living in our area. I also found out that they have different projects and plans that are made to improve the barangay. During my visit, I asked about their project development plan and took a picture in front of the barangay hall. I even met our Barangay Captain, who was very approachable and hospitable. He welcomed me kindly and answered my questions politely, which made me feel comfortable during my visit. The barangay hall was clean and organized, and it looked like a place where people can easily ask for help when they need it. Overall, this activity helped me understand that barangay officials have an important responsibility in serving the community. It also taught me to be respectful and polite when talking to public officials. I enjoyed the visit because I learned something new about our own barangay and gained a better appreciation of the work they do for the community.

I usually listen to music, watch videos, play games, or just rest for a while. Sometimes talking to my friends or family also helps me forget about school stress, even for a little bit. When I'm feeling mentally stressed, I try to take a short break first before going back to my school works. I also distract myself by playing basketball or taking a short walk sometimes. These help me relieve my stress and give me peace of mind. After that, I feel more relaxed and ready to continue with my school work. I also remind myself that it's okay if I can't finish everything right away. I just do my best and take one task at a time. It may not remove all the stress, but it helps me feel better and keep going. CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX-OBSERVER DATE: Aug 12, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Learning about rapid population growth in the Philippines made me realize that it is not only about the increasing number of people, but also about how it affects our daily lives. A growing population can lead to problems such as overcrowded schools, traffic, lack of housing, unemployment, and increased waste. I also learned that some causes include a high number of births, poverty, and lack of proper education and access to family planning. The government has programs and laws that promote responsible parenthood and help address population-related problems. As a student, I can see how this issue can affect me in many ways. Having more people can mean more students competing for classrooms, teachers, learning materials, and other resources. It can also contribute to heavier traffic, which may affect my travel time going to school. In the future, rapid population growth may also mean more competition for jobs, so it reminds me that I need to study hard and prepare myself for the future. Overall, this topic helped me understand that rapid population growth is a problem that involves everyone, not just the government. I realized that proper education, responsible decision-making, and good government planning are important in managing the effects of a growing population. Even as a student, I can help by being responsible, informed, and aware of how my actions can affect my community.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX-OBSERVER DATE: Sept 11, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Personal Situation and Current Activity Right now, I am doing okay in my current situation. I am thankful to God because even though there is continuous heavy rain, our place is not affected too much by severe flooding. My family and I are safe at home. At this moment, I am reviewing the NSTP PowerPoint slides on "Kumustahan and Flood Readiness" and reflecting on what our community is facing today. Reflection on the Discussion and Local Situation Reading through the slides made me realize how hard the situation is for many people in Angeles City, especially in low-lying barangays near the Abacan River. While my family is safe, my heart goes out to those who suffer from damaged homes, displacement, and health risks whenever it rains heavily. We really need to be compassionate and considerate to those who are experiencing these hardships. At the same time, this continuous flooding also makes me think about the systemic causes behind it. It is frustrating to realize how corrupt government officials and ghost projects contribute to this suffering. Millions of pesos meant for flood control, proper drainage systems, and infrastructure projects are lost to corruption instead of protecting the people. If these funds were used properly and honestly, no families would suffer whenever bad weather strikes.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX-OBSERVER DATE: Sept 16, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Learning about the SWOT Analysis made me realize how useful it is for planning and making big decisions. SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. It helps an organization or a community look at what is happening both on the inside and on the outside so they can figure out the best way to move forward. Understanding this tool showed me that success isn't just about knowing what you are good at, but also about being honest about where you need to improve. The first two parts, Strengths and Weaknesses, are internal factors, which means they are things within our own control. Strengths are the positive qualities, unique talents, or helpful resources an organization already has. On the other hand, Weaknesses are the areas where skills, knowledge, or resources are lacking. I learned that recognizing weaknesses is not a bad thing; instead, it points out what needs to be fixed so it won't hold the team back from reaching its goals. The last two parts, Opportunities and Threats, are external factors that come from the outside environment. Opportunities are good possibilities or changes in the field that can be taken advantage of to grow. Threats are outside challenges, like new competition or changing rules, that could cause problems or slow down progress. Even though we cannot always control external factors, doing a SWOT Analysis helps us prepare for them so we are not caught off guard. Overall, I realized that a SWOT Analysis is a simple yet powerful tool for strategic planning. It teaches us how to use our strengths to grab new opportunities and how to work on our weaknesses so that outside threats won't hurt us. By keeping the points brief, clear, and prioritized, anyone can easily understand their situation and make smarter choices for the future. FM-CES 4020 Rev. 1 Effectivity Date: February 13, 2020

The small gesture of voting and receiving receipts could help ones community greatly. Through my perspective I’ve learned on how to act from on as I’ve glanced on what the true world really is. 3. Leadership, service, etc. Just be good, just be an agent of justice. Just be someone who could greatly enhanced ones country. Not being corrupt, being active, going outside is already a big deal. Just be kind, know what your goal is and do not recreate the “Ghost project” 4. I am no role leader, but If I ever become one, just be responsible. Take a good look at my decisions “Is this really the right choice?”. Listen to my conscience, be active towards the community. Know what really is the actions to do as a citizen in ones country.

The barangay captain and secretary from my perspective were doing well, there were also many visitors at the time I visited so I was not able to talk directly with them, instead I was able to see some posters outside the barangay hall. Free essentials when enrolling to a school provided by the barangay to be specific 300 first students. I saw visitors come and go, but I have no idea on what they were talking about, but they do welcome them, which I also find amusing. Since I was not able to speak directly I relied to facebook to see what they’ve done. It was a delightful sight, being not that adult yet I am not aware of my surroundings and their achievements but, seeing it in Facebook, they were working hard even if there were not much of an audience. The one thing that I really like is that they have held a Financial Assistance Program for students since after pandemic.

This is because of community issues, the common community issues, that hinders the whole percentage of the Philippines’ growth. CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT Presentor DATE: September 16, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING A SWOT analysis is basically a brainstorming framework used to figure out where a project or business stands. SWOT, stands for strengths, weakness, opportunity, and threats. Strengths focusing on that that you are confident towards to, the skills that you have that you are confident in showing. Weakness stands for those that you lack, the things that holds back your potential. Opportunities are favorable external events that you can grab towards success. Weakness is an internal event, meaning you, while threats is an external events that you cannot control. Greats the prime example of a threat are those that stand against you in other words a competitor. To keep it organized, you usually split it into two halves: what's happening inside your company versus what's happening out in the market. It’s easy to notice the actions of other people, but it’s not always easy to look at yourself honestly. The questions and discussions made me pause for a while and think about my own habits, the decisions I make, and the values I want to carry as I continue growing. I realized that reflecting on yourself isn’t something you only do when there’s a problem, it’s something that helps you become more intentional in the way you live. The discussion about Filipino traits also stood out to me because it showed both the strengths and weaknesses that we see in our society. Rather than judging those qualities, I think the lesson was encouraging us to be more aware of them so we can choose what kind of person we want to be. I left the class feeling that being a good Filipino isn’t measured by one big achievement. It’s built through everyday choices, like being responsible, treating people with respect, and staying true to your values even in ordinary situations.

They all pointed to one thing, that community growth depends on people who are willing to participate. One of my classmates talked about volunteering, while another suggested using social media to encourage more people to join community activities. I liked that the discussion wasn’t focused on doing something grand. Instead, it showed that simple efforts can already motivate others to get involved. I also noticed how everyone gave each person a chance to speak, which made our discussion more organized and showed good teamwork. If I were given the chance, I’d probably start with things that are already within my reach instead of waiting for the “perfect” opportunity to help. Joining school or barangay activities, supporting local programs, or even inviting friends to participate sounds more realistic for me. I don’t think community involvement has to be complicated. This activity made me appreciate how much easier it is to accomplish something when people share ideas, respect each other’s opinions, and actually work together instead of expecting one person to do everything.

CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX-SECRETARY DATE: July 15, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING As I review our National Service Training Program activities, I recognize that they caused significant reflection. It was my initial expectation that we would complete the requirements and proceed, but as we developed a roleplay, wrote journals and produced a short film and a skit, I observed that the lessons relate to actual situations. They caused me to evaluate my personal character and the specific qualities I desire to possess as a citizen of the Philippines. In the roleplay regarding positive Filipino characteristics, I understood that those values are not merely items for memorization. They are meant to be visible in how we interact with others on a daily basis. By writing the journals about the Civic Welfare Training Service, I also learned that community assistance does not require large actions. To fulfill my responsibilities, to show respect for others and to provide help when possible are actions that are already significant. On the subject of the short film but also skit about leadership, my perspective on leaders underwent a change. For a long time, I believed that leadership is only for individuals who hold official titles or ranks. It is my view that any person is a leader when they are honest, responsible and prepared to assist others. If I am a student, I can already begin to apply the specific qualities. And as a result of the program, I see that being a good citizen begins with the minor decisions I make every day. There is much for me to learn but it is my goal to be a person who is helpful to others, who provides a model for others to follow and who contributes to the community through individual efforts.

When I arrived, the barangay captain met with me and provided an explanation regarding the current plans plus priorities of the community. In this discussion, the primary focus was on the ways that the staff improves the level of cleanliness, maintains roads and drainage, strengthens waste management but also keeps the community safe and organized. While I was at the location, I observed that the barangay hall is organized as well as free of dirt. There are many plants around the area, which result in a quiet environment. It is clear that the staff maintains the facility and the helpful behavior of the officials made the visit easy to complete. By participating in this visit, I gained an understanding of the work that barangay officials perform. To see how they plan projects for the community is to recognize that serving the people is a task that requires labor or a commitment to goals. And this experience is a reminder that students should stay informed about community events. For the area to be better for everyone, I must perform my role in keeping the surroundings clean and safe.

Sometimes, those tasks are actually manageable but they often reach a level that is difficult for a student to manage. It is a matter of how a student manages the resulting tension. For me, the things that make me feel at ease are dance and when I interact with my friends, specifically my friends from high school. By dancing, I am able to stop thinking about deadlines and academic expectations for a short period. On the occasions when me and my friends spend time together, I am reminded that my experiences are shared by others. We talk and express amusement and those actions result in a reduction of my emotional burden. When my mental state is tense, I also tell myself to complete tasks in a sequence rather than considering every responsibility simultaneously. If I have many tasks, I do not demand excessive performance from myself and I remain focused on completing a single objective before I begin the next one. Due to the nature of education, stress is likely to remain present but the process is more manageable when I have supportive people and participate in enjoyable activities.

However, there are people dealing with problems bigger than mine, and these include social issues. I may not be directly affected by these social issues, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be aware of them. Someone can work hard and even overtime in a job that is not even aligned with their field, and still struggle financially because their salary isn’t enough. Another person may be willing to work and capable of doing great things, but cannot find a stable job to make ends meet. Moreover, another issue that stands out is healthcare. Getting unexpectedly sick is already troublesome, but having to worry about whether you can afford the medical bill makes it even worse. These real-life scenarios made me realize that I shouldn’t be oblivious to these issues just because I am not the one experiencing them. I also realized that these issues create a domino effect. Losing a job can affect a family’s income, and in result, they will struggle to afford their basic needs such as food and healthcare. I don’t think I can fully understand what it feels like to experience these problems myself, but learning about them made me more aware of the people around me, and even people I don’t know of.

I started appreciating the fact that no matter how it rains lately, I am still able to get out of my house and do everything I need to do. The repeated typhoons and suspensions of classes have also made an impact on my studies. I feel a bit unmotivated because our classes keep being interrupted. Nevertheless, I try to make productive use of the time I get during interruptions and organize practices with my dance group for our upcoming competition. However, at the same time, I try to balance dance and studies by doing asynchronous learning. Overall, the whole process of combining studies with dancing has proved to be challenging, especially in the moments when the weather is unsteady and what everybody gets is interruptions. CLASS CODE: 405 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX-SECRETARY DATE: September 16, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING While gaining knowledge of SWOT Analysis, I realized its significance in enhancing everyone’s understanding of a situation as well as in taking better decisions regarding planning. SWOT means Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. The significance I found in this subject matter relates to the fact that it shows how crucial it is to consider both advantages as well as disadvantages having an impact on the project, organization, or community. Furthermore, what inspired me was the fact that weaknesses and strengths are internal and external along with being controllable or improvable. At the same time, opportunities and threats can be regarded as the external issues that go beyond the control of the organization concerned. It follows from this distinction that it is important to keep in mind that not be all the issues we face can be solved directly, but the knowledge of the things we are in control of should be able to make our decisions more effective. As a student of engineering and a dancer as well, I can relate the example of SWOT Analysis to what I have in my life. Speaking about the positive aspects of my life, I can point out my desire to study as well as my experience in balancing between studying and dancing as my strengths. However, I still need to work on my time management as well as maintaining concentration on my various responsibilities when the workload becomes heavy. Opportunities may arise from school activities, trainings, and other skills I improve through practices, while threats might come in form of different circumstances (unexpected occurrences, academic pressures, etc.). Overall, I realized that SWOT Analysis is not only useful for organizations or businesses. It can also help me assess my own situation and make better plans. It reminds me to recognize what I do well, be honest about what I need to improve, take advantage of opportunities, and prepare for challenges. For me, understanding these four factors can help me become more aware of my decisions and work toward my goals more effectively.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX- DOCUMENTOR DATE: July 8, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Working on this poster with my group really opened my eyes to what NSTP and Holy Angel University are all about. We named our group “Hot Six” because it fits us perfectly. The word "Hot" shows our passion and energy for helping others. "Six" is for the six of us bringing our own strengths together. "Connect" is our main goal—we want to build real relationships with the community, not just finish a school assignment. This activity taught us that true service starts with a real desire to help. The symbols on our poster have special meanings. We drew interlocking gears with a bright light in the center. The gears show how our different ideas and skills work perfectly together. It reminds us that we can do much more as a team. The light in the middle represents Christ and our school's core values: Faith, Integrity, Excellence, and Service. This keeps us focused on being kind and caring students. While planning everything, I realized that NSTP is not just a boring requirement or a class we have to pass. It is a chance to look at the real world and learn how to help people with love and teamwork. Our group talks helped me see the university's mission in real life. We are learning to use our education to lift up those who are struggling. This project also made me think about my own life. I learned that you cannot truly connect with a community without listening to them first. Being a leader does not mean being the boss. It means standing beside people, hearing their stories, and supporting them. Even small acts of kindness can make a big difference when they come from the heart. In the end, this activity showed me the true meaning of service. Our education matters most when we use it to help others. As a member of “Hot Six” I want to keep this passion alive in our future community work. I promise to live out our values of faith, integrity, excellence, and service with humility and care.

What are your personal insights and key understandings about the purpose and importance of the NSTP program after participating in class activities? After joining NSTP activities, I learned that the program is important because it teaches students to help others and care for the community. It also helped me become more responsible, disciplined, and aware of my role as a student and citizen. 2. How has your perception of what it means to be a responsible Filipino citizen changed or deepened through your experiences in NSTP discussions and activities? NSTP changed my understanding of being a responsible Filipino citizen. I learned that it is not only about following the law but also about helping others, respecting people, and taking care of the environment. Small actions can make a big difference. 3. In what ways have the lessons from NSTP helped you understand the principles of ethical Filipino leadership, such as integrity, responsibility, and service? NSTP taught me that a good leader is honest, responsible, and willing to serve others. A leader should set a good example and work with others to help the community. I learned that leadership is about serving, not being in charge. 4. How have your experiences in NSTP influenced your view of your role as a leader and citizen in your community and in the country? My experience in NSTP helped me see that I can help my community even as a student. I can be responsible, join community activities, and encourage others to do good. I want to become a citizen who helps make my community and country a better place.

When I feel stressed, I try to stay calm and do my tasks one at a time. I talk to someone I trust, like a family member or a friend, when I need support. I also remind myself that it is okay to rest and that I do not have to finish everything at once.

CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX- DOCUMENTOR DATE: Sep 6, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING My Experience During The Flood The recent flooding in Pampanga was a difficult and stressful experience for me and my family. Because of the continuous rain, the water level started to rise in some areas, making it difficult for us to travel and do our usual activities. We had to stay alert and keep checking the weather and announcements from our barangay. Honestly, I felt worried because the flood affected many people around us. Some roads became difficult to pass, and some families had to move to safer places. Seeing the situation made me realize how important it is to be prepared during severe weather. Despite everything, I am doing okay and staying safe with my family. We are just being careful, staying indoors when possible, and hoping that the rain will stop and the floodwater will go down soon. This experience reminded me to appreciate having a safe place to stay and to care for other people who are also affected by the flood. CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX- DOCUMENTOR DATE: Sep 16, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Reaction Paper: Understanding the SWOT Analysis The SWOT Analysis serves as a foundational strategic framework designed to build comprehensive situational awareness before engaging in planning and decision making. Originally created for business and industry, its core principles apply equally well to community projects, educational initiatives, and personal growth. The primary value of the framework lies in its clear structural distinction between internal capabilities and external dynamics. Internal factors comprising Strengths and Weaknesses fall under the direct control of the organization or community. Strengths highlight core achievements, available resources, and unique talents that form a solid foundation for the future, whereas Weaknesses uncover missing skills, resource gaps, or operational areas requiring significant improvement. Conversely, external factors comprising Opportunities and Threats exist largely beyond direct organizational control. Opportunities identify unmet community needs and evolving field trends that can be leveraged, while Threats represent potential roadblocks, legal shifts, or changing technologies that could impede overall success. Beyond mere identification, the presentation emphasizes practical, actionable execution through strict editing and prioritization. A proper SWOT analysis requires brevity, using concise bullet points and eliminating redundant information so that only the most critical priorities remain. Ultimately, simply creating a SWOT list is not enough to drive meaningful progress. The real strategic impact comes from connecting these quadrants through frameworks like the TOWS matrix, which allows organizations to combine internal strengths with external opportunities or use strengths to systematically minimize threats. By translating raw evaluation data into an actionable roadmap, the SWOT process equips groups to make informed, resilient decisions for long term strategic success. CLASS CODE: 401 GROUP NO., NAME & POSITION: 6-HOT SIX- DOCUMENTOR DATE: Sep 16, 2026 INSIGHTS/LEARNING Our face-to-face session was a good and productive experience. We discussed SWOT Analysis and identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that may affect our class and activities. It was nice to share our ideas with my classmates and listen to their different opinions. I learned that SWOT Analysis can help us understand what we are good at and what we still need to improve. It also helped us identify possible opportunities and challenges that we may encounter. Overall, the session was helpful because we were able to work together, communicate our ideas, and understand how we can improve as a class. RAPID POPULATION GROWTH Exploring the Social Issues

Rapid population growth is a problem because when there are more people, the community needs more resources and services. The Philippines, including Angeles City, needs good planning to support its growing population. In Angeles City, the population increased from 462,928 in 2020 to 483,452 in 2024. The city recorded an average annual population growth rate of 1.05% from 2020 to 2024.

CAUSE AND effect

Rapid population growth can be influenced by high

fertility rates, early marriage and childbearing, and economic conditions. In areas where having more children is common, high fertility rates can cause the population to increase rapidly over time. Early marriage and childbearing can further contribute to this growth because individuals begin having children at a younger age and may have more children throughout their lifetime.

legal impediments One legal impediment to rapid population growth is the improper implementation of zoning, housing, and environmental regulations. Weak enforcement can lead to improper waste disposal, traffic congestion, and informal settlements. To address these issues, local governments should strengthen regulations, waste management, and population monitoring. Communities should also support family planning and health education under RA 10354 (Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act) to help maintain a manageable population.

“In a region with a growing

population, if you're doing nothing, you're losing ground.” Stewart Udall
