STUDENT PORTFOLIOSEANN MICHAEL M. BUNGANAY PSYCH STATS! Academic PortfolioPortfolio
QUIZ #1What I Learned: I learned about the different types of data such as nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio. I also learned about discrete and continuous data, different sampling methods, and how to find the sample size. What I Find Difficult: I found it difficult to remember the differences between the types of data and sampling methods. I also had some difficulty applying the correct formula for sample size. My Insights: I realized that I need to understand the meaning of each concept instead of just memorizing it. This quiz helped me understand the basic concepts that are important in research and statistics.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolio
QUIZ #2What I Learned: I learned how to arrange data from the lowest to the highest value and how to find the median. I learned that when there are two middle numbers, I need to add them and divide the answer by two. What I Find Difficult: I found it difficult to identify the correct middle value, especially when there were many numbers. I also needed to be careful when arranging the data. My Insights: I realized that accuracy is very important in statistics. Even a small mistake in arranging the numbers can affect the final answer.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolio
QUIZ #3What I Learned: I learned how to find the mean, median, and mode. I learned that the mean is found by adding all the values and dividing them by the number of values, while the median is the middle value and the mode is the value that appears most often. What I Find Difficult: I found it difficult to remember the correct process for each measure. I also needed to carefully check the data, especially when some numbers were repeated. My Insights: I realized that mean, median, and mode are different ways of describing data. This quiz helped me understand how these measures are used to summarize information.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAY Portfolio
QUIZ #4What I Learned: I learned how to create a null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis. I also learned how to identify whether a research question is correlational, comparative, or predictive. What I Find Difficult: I found it difficult to distinguish between the different types of research questions because some of them sounded similar. I also had to carefully understand what the question was asking before creating the hypotheses. My Insights: I realized that understanding the research question is important before doing any statistical analysis. This quiz helped me understand how hypotheses are connected to research.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolio
LONG TESTWhat I Learned: I learned how the different topics from our previous lessons are connected. The Long Test helped me review sampling methods, types of data, hypotheses, and research questions. What I Find Difficult: I found it difficult to remember many concepts at the same time. Some questions also required me to understand the situation instead of simply memorizing the definitions. My Insights: I realized that studying consistently is better than reviewing everything at the last minute. The test also taught me that understanding the concepts is more important than memorizing answers.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolio
1ST GROUP REPORTINGPORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolioReflection: As a reporter, I learned the five probability sampling techniques and how they are used in research. At first, I found some of them confusing, but studying and explaining them helped me understand them better. I also learned how to speak and explain ideas in front of the class. Overall, reporting helped me gain more knowledge and confidence. During our research presentation, I learned that teamwork and preparation are very important. I learned more about our research by explaining it in front of the class. I was nervous at first, but I became more confident as we continued presenting. This experience helped me improve my communication and presentation skills. While working on the introduction, I learned how to explain the background and purpose of our research. I learned that the introduction should clearly show what our research is about and why it is important. It was a little difficult at first, but working on it helped me understand our topic better. It also improved my writing skills. While working on the methods, I learned how a research study is properly conducted. I learned about the research design, participants, sampling, and how data is collected. At first, it was confusing because there were many details to consider. But after working on it, I understood the process better and learned why having a clear method is important. MY GROUPMATES ARE : MARIE RENZ, MATTHEW , WREISE, AND ANNIKA GAYLE
2ND GROUP REPORTINGReflection: During the presentation, I learned more about the topic and gained a better understanding of the important points that were discussed. At first, I was a little confused because there were some parts that I was not very familiar with, but as the presentation continued, I slowly understood the topic better. Listening to the presenters also helped me learn new information and see the topic from a different perspective.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolio MY GROUPMATES ARE : ALEXANDER CABATU AND GAVYNN DEL PILAROverall, I enjoyed the presentation because it gave me a chance to learn something new and improve my understanding of the topic. It also helped me become more comfortable with learning through group discussions and presentations. I can use what I learned from this activity in our future lessons and other activities.I also learned that presentations are not only about sharing information but also about listening, participating, and learning from others. The activity also reminded me of the importance of teamwork and cooperation when doing group tasks.
3RD GROUP REPORTINGReflection: Our ongoing research presentation about Social Media Usage vs. Self-Esteem has helped me understand our topic better. As we continue working on our research, I am learning more about how social media usage may be connected to how people see themselves and their self-esteem. I also realized that doing research takes time, teamwork, and proper preparation because we need to understand every part of our study. During our presentation, I felt a little nervous at first, but it also helped me become more confident in explaining our research. Since our research is still ongoing, I know that there is still more for us to learn and improve. Overall, this experience is helping me develop my research, communication, and presentation skills while giving me a better understanding of our topic.PORTFOLIO BY SEANN MICHAEL BUNGANAYPortfolio MY GROUPMATES ARE : ALEXANDER CABATU AND GAVYNN DEL PILAR
