Get Ready Guide: PLPS G E N E R AT I N G P L P S A more in depth guide from EA is available in LSC Documents The mandatory fields in Part 1 Personal Profile are: the PLP Description, PLP Start Date and PLP End Date. It is recommended that a PLP description includes Pupil Name, Academic Year and current Year Group relevant to the PLP that is being created. Click SAVE before exiting the PLP. You have now created a PLP. Form teachers are responsible for creating the PLP for each of their form class and completing all information on the first page of the PLP (Parent views school views etc).

Get Ready Guide: PLPS O U TC O M E S ‘Targets’ have been replaced with the ‘outcomes’ Each PLP should have the following three outcomes: 1.Numeracy 2.Literacy 3.SEMH(Social Emotional Mental Health) The fourth outcome: Pupil Collaboration is now optional, please use professional judgement to decide if adding this outcome would be in the best interests of the student. EA guidance states that each outcome must be a SMART(E) outcome, please see definition below: Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant Timely/ Time bound Evidence Based There is a fantastic EA SMART(E) guide in LSC Documents this includes explanations and examples. ‘TIP: On SIMS outcomes are split into sections, an Excel spreadsheet is available for you to copy in LSC Documents

Phase 1 in January - Phase 2 in June* Any PLP that is not evaluated, is not eligible for support from external agencies. This will bring up the outcomes.

This may be via DOJO, letter, phone call, google form or face to face. Pupil Views: Must be gathered, if any issues arise please see LSC or SLT.
